The Sony Ericsson Kurara: 720p Recording+AMOLED screen=Hot
I'm currently in a commited relationship with my Android smartphone, but that doesn't mean I have to stop looking at other devices. Some of them I might even want to oggle lecherously while sweating and mumbling under my breath. That might make me sound like a bit of a freak, but the Ericsson Kurara really does look that hot.
This new smartphone was leaked out on an Ericsson fan forum and brought into the English-speaking blogosphere by Boy Genius. As best we can tell, the Kurara is an S60-running smartphone with an 8.1 MP camera, like the Rachel. Unlike the Rachel, the Kurara's camera is supposed to be able to record in 720p HD. The Kurara is also rumored to pack an AMOLED screen, although that's impossible to confirm with the photos we have.

Incomplete Windows 7 Feature Turns Laptops into Hotspots
A developer from Philly has found an unfinished feature of Windows 7 that allows the computer to be turned into a WiFi hotspot for sharing an Internet connection with other users. The feature is called Virtual WiFi and the developer used the feature to create a free app called Connectify that was released as beta last week.
The app allows several Windows computers to share a single internet connection and it shows up as a real wireless access point. The app also allows the user to join a WiFi hotspot and still run the app to share the connection on the same networking card. Read more

To know what products companies will release next you need to monitor all kinds of channels. For a while I have had the Lenovo Flickr account in my Update Scanner app on Firefox. Today a photo of the ThinkCentre All-In-One PC appeared.
The ThinkCentre All-In-One PC actually rivals the HP TouchSmart line in style. We do not know anything else as Lenovo did not announce any specifications for this All-In-One. Does it have a touchscreen? We do not know.

PhotoTrackr Mini Geotags Photos
I have never really felt compelled to tag photos with GPS information. After all, isn’t the purpose of a photo so you can remember where you were for years to come? A new geotagging device has been unveiled from GiSTEQ called the PhotoTrackr Mini DPL900.
This isn't the first geo tagging solution from the company and the latest version of the PhotoTrakr is smaller than the original. The new version of the device is compatible with RAW format photos on Mac computers thanks to new software. Read more

ReNu Solar iPod Charger: Being Green Can Be Hot
Solar technology is awesome. It's easy to use and provides an unlimited source of free electricity wherever you go. Unfortunately, most commercial solar panels looks like, well...solar panels. Thankfully, the ReNu solar iPod dock (via Gizmodo) is just sexy enough to grab the attention of hipsters the world over. It's got a slick, ultramodern design and a hefty price tag: $200.
The dock consists of a set of speakers and a square solar panel/battery combo that sits comfortably in between them. With a full charge, the battery can power music for 7-8 hours. When it goes dry, you just need to pull out the solar panel and expose it to the sun. With direct line, it can charge the battery to full in 9 hours (that's almost an even rate of replacement). In poor light, however, charging can take as long as 20 hours.

Epson Adds Tethered Shooting to P-6000 and P-7000 Photo Viewers
Epson unveiled its P-6000 and P-7000 photo viewers a while back and has been adding new features to the devices ever since. The P-6000 and P-7000 photo viewers are devices that allow photographers to offload their photos to a larger hard drive for storage in the field.
The photo viewers are perfect for backing your photos up while you are shooting them. Epson announced last week that the P-6000 and P-7000 digital photo viewers have gained new features. Both of the devices can now be tethered to a DSLR camera via a USB cable. This allows the image taken to be stored to the camera's internal memory card and to the Epson photo viewer at the same time. Epson Photo viewers Now Support Tethered Shooting
Epson is probably best known by most of us for its line of printers and scanners. The company makes a range of other gear too, including home theater projectors and picturing viewing devices for pro photographers. Epson has announced that it's P-6000 and P-7000 multimedia photo viewers now feature tethering.
The ability to tether to the camera as the photographer is shooting allows them to be able to see their images immediately and save them as they are shot to streamline the backup process. The DSLR camera has to connect to the Epson viewers via a USB cable and the image is automatically saved to the viewer. Read more

The BlackBerry Smartwatch: Hot, But Silly
Like millions and millions of other people these days, I no longer wear a watch. The advent of the cell phone as a ubiquitous device has made them superfluous for a lot of us. While old-fashioned watches may not be too exciting these days, the concept of the smartwatch most definitely is. Ever since LG's overly-expensive GD910 made it onto the market, we've been waiting to see who the next entrant in the smartwatch category would be.
Today, we know it's RIM. That's right, the makers of the BlackBerry are working on a companion smartwatch (via Gizmodo) for their line of phones. Crackberry posted up several images of the new watch, along with some information on its purpose. This smartwatch is not a stand-alone device, but a BlackBerry accessory designed to display messages from a paired BlackBerry. It's made by a 3rd party manufacturer, and could be marketed as the inPulse.
