IE 7 is Ready for Download
Microsoft finally released the official final release of the Internet Explorer 7.
I have been using beta versions and the release candidate of the IE 7. It is quite a change to get used to the tab browsing. Now I do not want to miss it. I hope the final release is stable as I still got some crashes with the Release Candidate.

Microsoft Office 2007 Delayed, IE 7 Beta 3 Available Now
Microsoft delays the launch of Office 2007 until year end.
The Microsoft Office 2007 launch was scheduled to begin in October for businesses. Now Microsoft plans to start that end of 2006. For consumers the Office 2007 marketing push is moving from January 2007 to a vague early 2007. MS wants to fix performance issues based on feedback of beta 2 testers.
The Office 2007 delay could also mean another delay for Windows Vista.

Microsoft announces IE 7
The Mozilla Firefox success finally did it, and Bill Gates announces Internet Explorer 7 coming this Summer.
The new IE 7 is of course all about security. Mr. Gates says it will have new protections against viruses, spyware and phishing scams. Hope MS does not forget speed.
Based on Reuters IE held a 90.3-percent share of USA browser usage in mid-January, compared with a 95.5-percent share in mid-2004.
