KeyArmor incorporated technology from both companies to create the world’s most secure, portable, flexible, auditable and tamperproof USB key.

KeyArmor USB is aimed at the needs of civilian and federal enterprise security marketplaces and the product meets and exceeds critical governmental standards. The KeyArmor drive allows enterprise users to authenticate using existing Smart cards, RSA SecurID or policy based passwords to access the encrypted USB drives and will disallow other USB keys from being connected. IronKey Launches 8GB Version

IronKey Launches 8GB Version Technology News, Electronics Buy Guide and Gadget Review IronKey has announced that its line of secure enterprise hard drives has had a capacity increase. Previously the IronKey drives were available in 1Gb, 2GB, and 4GB capacities. Now users needing hardware encryption and more storage can get an 8GB version of the IronKey drive.

The 8GB version offers the same Cryptochip built onto the drive and comes with applications like Firefox, IronKey password manager, RSA SecurID and a Secure Session service. Administrators can also turn these applications off if desired. The 8Gb drive retails for $299. Read more

IronKey announced that it has a new flash drive in the IronKey family that meets military standards for durability and is appropriate for enterprise use as well. The new flash drive is called the IronKey: Enterprise Special Edition.

The drive is designed to meet MIL-STD-810F for tamper and water resistance and uses the same onboard hardware encryption that other IronKey drives use. No drivers or software are required to use the drive on a computer or network. Read more
