Aluratek Launches New USB Internet Radio Jukebox
Aluratek has announced its latest Internet radio jukebox that connects to the PC via USB. The device is very small and looks more like a USB flash drive than an Internet radio device. When plugged into the PC USB port, software launches automatically to allow users to listen to Internet radio.
The stick is capable of tuning in over 13,000 Internet radio stations in over 150 countries. Software also verifies the audio quality of broadcasts and rejects those that are low bandwidth. Programming can be searched from the software in several ways and preferences are saved automatically for future use. The Aluratek Internet Jukebox retails for $39.99 via Amazon.com, Buy.com and more. Read more

Jukeboxes Go Digital
CNN.com recently posted an article about the recent evolution of jukeboxes being transformed to fit the digital age. Unless you're living in one of the biggest cities in the country, chances are when you think of the word "jukebox" you still picture a retro-style huge metal-and-plastic machine that houses a handful of CDs. But before too long, that image will be a distant memory before too long.
Digital, Internet-powered jukeboxes are becoming the biggest revolution in some neighborhood taverns since the dawn of video poker. Because of either Internet connectivity or massive hard drives, modern jukeboxes can access hundreds, or in some cases hundreds of thousands, of songs.

Vantec AVOX Jukebox Multimedia Player Review
3dGameman published one of their signature video reviews. This time they review not a PC component but the Vantec AVOX Jukebox Multimedia Player.
Quote:
"This is a brilliant product if you don't have a Home Theater PC. The reason being, you don't need to have a PC connected to the audio/video equipment to listen to music, watch movies or look at your photos. Setup is quick & easy because it's high speed USB2 and uses a 2.5
inch HDD so there lots of storage space. What an excellent idea! "

Gateway MP3 Photo Jukebox
Gateway announces after Apple also a MP3 Player with photo viewer.
The Gateway MP3 Photo Jukebox is a 4GB MP3 player with measurements of 96 x 59 x 17 mm. Gateway's MP3 Photo player is slightly bigger than the Apple iPod mini, which makes it a "iPod mini Photo".
Other features include: USB 2.0, 1.6" color screen, supports MP3, WMA, JPEG, BMP, 8 hour play-time.
The Gateway MP3 Photo Jukebox sells for $249.99. I do not know why companies always think they get away with the same pricing as Apple. Yes it shows photos great deal, but it is not a Apple iPod mini. This player should sell for $149.99, then it maybe has a chance. And why is it not a 5GB mp3 player, like the new MP3 Players from Creative and Rio? More details on the Gateway site. More new MP3 Players.
