Hasbro announced the Kota back in February and the ride on animatronics dino has been shipping since the beginning of this month from Amazon.com for $299.95. Engadget got the Kota Triceratops Dinosaur in their office and they published a short hands-on review and some photos.

Kota Triceratops Dinosaur hot Holiday Toy is shipping
One of the hottest most unusual Holiday Toy gifts is now shipping. Hasbro announced the Kota animatronics ride-on Dinosaur in February.
KOTA the Triceratops reacts to touch and sound with realistic dinosaur noises and movements.
Featuring sensors in eleven areas on his body, KOTA will react to touch by moving his head, tail and horns or giving a friendly dino roar.
With KOTA The Triceratops children will enjoy the simulated experience of 'riding' a dinosaur; kids can ride comfortably on his back in a spring-loaded seat, holding onto a handle hidden behind the dinosaur's head.

Hasbro KOTA the Triceratops Dinosaur
It is an odd time to report about the hot next toy for Holiday season, but the toy companies just presented their newest toys at toy fair. Fisher-Price already landed another hit Elmo version with Elmo Live. Hasbro also announced a whole list of new toys including Kota the Triceratops Dinosaur animatronics ride-on dino.
