Mitsubishi LaserVue debuts on Amazon
The first Laser TV finally makes its appearance on Amazon.com. Mitsubishi announced last week that the 65 inch LaserVue L65-A90 is officially on sale in stores. Amazon is not directly offering the LaserVue HDTV yet. A retailer named Electronics Expo is offering the L65A90 Laser TV via Amazon for $6,999.
Reviews of the LaserVue Laser TV have been very positive so far. The only beef is with the high price and it seems none of the retailers currently see the need to move down from the MSRP of the L65A90.

LaserVue Review
Mitsubishi is set to ship the first Laser TV LaserVue. Over a week ago we featured a report about the LaserVue World premier at a Texas store
Then Time magazine published what can be called the first LaserVue review. Although the review does not really convey anything about the Laser TV we did not know already.
We know already that the 65 inch LaserVue uses less power and has a wider color gamut than any other flatscreen out there. The MSRP of the first Laser TV is $6,999 - Early adopting always costs a lot.

Today we are looking at the OCZ Dominatrix laser gaming mouse. The mouse is a bargain at close to $40 compared to the $80 or more that comparable gaming mice retail for. Performance is very good as well.
This is perfect for gamers on a budget wanting a high-end gaming mouse that performs well for gaming at high sensitivity levels. The addition of on-board memory and adjustable weight means the Dominatrix has most everything a gamer could want. Read more

Laser TV becomes new HDTV Entrant
You thought plasma, LCD, OLED, DLP and CRT were all the choices you had in HDTV? Think again, man. Mitsubishi is adding a new color to the palette, in the form of a high-def TV that uses laser technology. Expect to pay a large premium, though, as always, for the increase in picture quality and environmental friendliness.
Mitsubishi's LaserVue HDTV is slated for release fairly soon, well in time for the holiday season. The difference over other high-def sets is that it uses an engine powered by laser lights, instead of standard TV lighting technology. It sounds cool, as many new fangled ideas do, but expect to pay around $7,000 to get in on the new fad.

Radiohead House of Cards Video uses Lasers instead of Cameras
Radiohead produced a cool new video for their House of Cards song from the In Rainbows album using no video cameras.
Instead two technologies were used to capture 3D images: Geometric Informatics and Velodyne LIDAR. Geometric Informatics scanning systems produce structured light to capture 3D images at close proximity, while a Velodyne Lidar system that uses multiple lasers is used to capture large environments such as landscapes. In this video, 64 lasers rotating and shooting in a 360 degree radius 900 times per minute produced all the exterior scenes.
