Mitsubishi LaserVue back in Production Technology News, Electronics Buy Guide and Gadget Review Last month Mitsubishi halted unexpectedly the production of the only available Laser HDTV on the market. Now EngadgetHD reports that Mitsubishi has resumed production of the LaserVue TV.
Now the next thing that needs to happen is for the prices of the LaserVue to come down. The 65 inch LaserVue L65A90 is selling for almost $7,000. Read more

Mitsubishi LaserVue debuts on Amazon Technology News, Electronics Buy Guide and Gadget Review The first Laser TV finally makes its appearance on Amazon.com. Mitsubishi announced last week that the 65 inch LaserVue L65-A90 is officially on sale in stores. Amazon is not directly offering the LaserVue HDTV yet. A retailer named Electronics Expo is offering the L65A90 Laser TV via Amazon for $6,999.

Reviews of the LaserVue Laser TV have been very positive so far. The only beef is with the high price and it seems none of the retailers currently see the need to move down from the MSRP of the L65A90. Read more

Mitsubishi LaserVue Laser TV officially on Sale Technology News, Electronics Buy Guide and Gadget Review Mitsubishi announced that their first Laser TV LaserVue 65 inch HDTV is available at retailers now. The Mitsubishi LaserVue L65-A90 is now being sold for $6,999 at select specialty retailers nationwide.
Apparently sales of the Laser TV started earlier as Mitsubishi says in the announcement that many consumers nationally have already purchased LaserVue.

Quote: "The consumer demand for LaserVue has simply exceeded our expectations and the product is a terrific example of Mitsubishi's technology leadership within the home entertainment market. Bringing laser TV to market is a significant industry accomplishment and we're very proud to be the only TV manufacturer to date that has delivered on the promise of a laser-driven TV," said Frank DeMartin, vice president, marketing, at Mitsubishi Digital Electronics America. We already reported about their first encounter of the LaserVue at the World Premier in the same store two weeks ago.
This time the guys spent some time with Blu-ray movies and watching them side-by-side on a LaserVue L65-A90 and a Pioneer Kuro PRO-151FD 60 inch Plasma. Read more

Over a week ago we featured a report about the LaserVue World premier at a Texas store Then Time magazine published what can be called the first LaserVue review. Although the review does not really convey anything about the Laser TV we did not know already.
We know already that the 65 inch LaserVue uses less power and has a wider color gamut than any other flatscreen out there. The MSRP of the first Laser TV is $6,999 - Early adopting always costs a lot. Read more

LaserVue Premier launched by Mitsubishi Technology News, Electronics Buy Guide and Gadget Review The new Laser TV LaserVue from Mitsubishi is supposed to start shipping soon, or did they already? At least Mitsubishi already launched LaserVue Premier, a special program for LaserVue owners. Membership is free and offers LaserVue owners benefits like LaserVue Premier Toll Free Hotline, Priority service, Loaner/Replacement Program and Access to the LaserVue Premier website.

As reported Mitsubishi has a LaserVue roadshow on the road, but there is no definite date on when the 65 inch LaserVue L65-A90 is going to ship besides Q3 timeframe. Read more

Over the weekend Mitsubishi held a promotion event at a retailer in San Antonio's high-end audio/video emporium Bjorn's in Texas introducing the LaserVue Laser TV.
The guys from The Techlounge have been there and published a report of their encounter with the first Laser TV. On display was the 65 inch LaserVue L65-A90.
The hands-on experience of the 3D capability of the LaserVue did impress. The present Mitsubishi reps did acknowledge though that there is not much 3D material available yet to benefit from the 3D feature. Read more

The 65 inch Mitsubishi Laservue has an MSRP of $6,999.
The price is quite a bit more than you have to pay for a decent LCD or Plasma HDTV in the 65 inch size. The open question will be what price retailers actually will offer the Laservue 65 inch HDTV in store shelves. Read more

Mitsubishi LaserVue Laser TV also comes in 73 inch Size in 2008 Technology News, Electronics Buy Guide and Gadget Review From time to time I check to see if Mitsubishi has updated the available information on their upcoming new Laser TV dubbed LaserVue.

We reported in April about the Mitsubishi Laser TV, when the LaserVue product brand was announced by Mitsubishi.
We knew that Mitsubishi was planning to offer a 65 inch Diamond LaserVue TV in the 3rd Quarter of 2008. In the FAQ section of the Mitsubishi Laser TV, the company also says they plan to release a 73 inch Diamond LaserVue TV in 2008. Read more
