Panasonic Lumix DMC-LX3 Review

Topic:

Panasonic Lumix DMC-LX3 Review Technology News, Electronics Buy Guide and Gadget Review Our review partner Digital Trends published a review of the Panasonic Lumix DMC-LX3 camera and gave it high marks. Panasonic unveiled the classic style DMC-LX3 in July of 2008.
Quote from the review: "However, at the high-end of the compact category, things move at a much more leisurely pace, with select manufacturers introducing one or two killer models that usually hang around for awhile. Canon’s 14.7MP PowerShot G10 is a fine example, as is the 10-megapixel LX3 we’re reviewing now. These cameras are for shutterbugs looking for DSLR quality, but without the hassle of carrying a bag of lenses. They’re also willing to spend close to 500 clams at a time when the prices of aim-and-forget are falling to the center of the Earth. Read more

Panasonic Lumix DMC-G1 Review

Topic:

Panasonic Lumix DMC-G1 Review Technology News, Electronics Buy Guide and Gadget Review Panasonic introduced a new kind of camera with the Panasonic Lumix DMC-G1 in September. DCResource has tested the new Lumix G1 and gives it a positive verdict. Only the price could be lower. It currently sells for $800 in shops.

Quote from the review: "The most impressive part of the DMC-G1 is its live view shooting experience. The Micro FourThirds system was designed from the ground up to be live view only, and Panasonic has really hit one out of the park in this area. You'll compose your photos with either the 3-inch, rotating LCD display or a large electronic viewfinder. Both of these screens have exceptional resolutions of 460,000 and 480,000 pixels, respectively, and outdoor and low light viewing is excellent. While the EVF is undoubtedly one of the best ever, it still isn't as sharp or clear as a traditional optical viewfinder. The live view is bright and motion is fluid. You can overlay preset grid lines, or make your own. Read more

Panasonic Lumix DMC-TZ50 Review

Topic:

Panasonic Lumix DMC-TZ50 Review Technology News, Electronics Buy Guide and Gadget Review Our review partner Digital Trends published a review of the Panasonic Lumix DMC-TZ50.
Quote form the review: "Some things just go together like Brad and Angelica, peanut butter and jelly, Madonna and controversy. And then there are things that aren't so buddy-buddy like digital cameras and Wi-Fi. In theory it sounds wonderful. You take your shots, find a hot spot then upload your images to friends and family. Gee, it sounds just like snapping a shot with your cell phone and zipping photos to your buddies-without tracking down a hot spot. And that's just one of the issues-who wants to spend time uploading huge digicam files while sipping a Doubleshot on Ice to those same pals or trying to see if you've subscribed to XYZ hot spot just to log-on? And then there are our "friends"-those lovable SSID and WEP key numbers. With cell phones so handy, it's no wonder Wi-Fi enabled cameras have gone nowhere as Canon and Nikon have tried unsuccessfully to foist this feature on the public. Read more

Panasonic Lumix FX35 Review

Topic:

Panasonic Lumix FX35 Review Technology News, Electronics Buy Guide and Gadget Review Panasonic introduced the Lumix FX35 10MP camera in January of this year. LetsGoDigital published a review of the FX35 now.
Quote from the review: "Naturally, there are many more compact cameras with a wide angle lens, however; that of the Panasonic FX35 starts at 25mm, and should therefore be considered a genuine wide angle. Panasonic take digital photography seriously, which is not only obvious from the specifications on paper; it also becomes evident when you take an average LUMIX camera into your hands. Read more

Panasonic Lumix DMC-LX3 unveiled

Topic:

Panasonic Lumix DMC-LX3 unveiled Technology News, Electronics Buy Guide and Gadget Review Panasonic is introducing the Lumix DMC-LX3, the long-awaited follow-up to the Lumix LX2 of high-end, compact digital still cameras.

The Panasonic Lumix LX3 features a new 1/1.63-inch CCD with 10.1MP resolution. Rather than cramming in the maximum number of pixels possible, it limited the LX3's 1/1.63-inch CCD to 10.1 megapixels.
