Not much is known besides that the Adamo trademark is for computer hardware. But the NY Times speculates that Adamo by Dell could be a notebook thinner than the MacBook Air.

A week ago an Asus Eee Roadmap was leaked that showed a new S101 and S91 netbook in the Ultimate segment. At an event in Taiwan Asus' CEO showed off productions samples of the Asus S101 and revealed that Asus will go to market with the Asus S101 without the Eee PC moniker.
They rather target the premium lightweight notebook sector with the S101. The Asus S101 is 16-21mm thin and Asus actually set its eyes on competing with Apple's Macbook Air.

Apple MacBook Air Ships
Apple announced yesterday that the MacBook Air is now shipping. While the Air is certainly one of the sexiest notebooks around, it’s certainly not without its drawbacks. The biggest drawbacks are the fact that none of the components are upgradable. You can’t even change the battery for a fresh one on the go.
That said, for the majority of notebook users that simply won’t matter. I only own one battery for my notebook and have never changed it. What could be a bigger issue is the paltry 80GB hard drive, especially if you need to run boot camp for Windows access. Read more

Seth Weintraub published in his blog on ComputerWorld 10 reasons to wait buying the new razor thin MacBook Air.

Apple MacBook Air
Apple just introduced the MacBook Air touted as the world’s thinnest notebook with a maximum thickness of only 0.76-inches. That’s thin for sure, but I’m not so sure about the thing myself. I am sure Apple fan boys are jumping up and down right now at the thought of a mega thin notebook.
After you get over the svelte dimensions, the remainder of the machine is a bit meh if you ask me. The screen is a 13.3-inch LED backlit unit and the system has a full size backlit keyboard. Backlighting on a notebook keyboard is a cool feature. The Air is powered by either a 1.6GHz or a 1.8GHz Intel core 2 Duo processor with a 4Mb L2 cache. Read more
