Sony PSP outsells Nintendo DS in Japan

Sony PSP outsells Nintendo DS in Japan Technology News, Electronics Buy Guide and Gadget Review According to the sales analysis of Enterbrain the Sony PSP outsold the Nintendo DS last month.

Sony sold 256,765 PSP consoles and Nintendo sold 217,639 units.
This is not the first time the PSP has outsold the Nintendo DS. Sony said in July that they already sold 10 million PSP consoles in Japan alone. Read more

Since its first release in 1992, Dragon Quest V has been remade twice.

PopCap’s Peggle Coming to Nintendo DS

It has now announced that one of its most popular games, Peggle, will be debuting on the Nintendo DS later this year. PopCap partnered with Q Entertainment to bring the game to the DS.

PopCap says that plans for launch in Europe for the Nintendo DS are not confirmed at this time. The Nintendo DS version is expected to have more levels than the existing versions of the game and some levels will be DS exclusives. Controls for the game will also be re-mastered. Read more

Rockstar says that the game is an entirely original game in the GTA series and adds new interactivity and large environments that are open. The game puts players in the center of the Earth as they look for a passage to the surface and travel through all seven of the underground worlds from the movie. Mini-games also let player’s rock climb, dig for dinosaur bones, and raft across an underground sea. Read more

Players can choose from guitar, bass, drums, or be the front man for the band.
