Orange Creates a 3G Tent
Yes, you heard right, a 3G tent. As in a portable camping domicile that comes with its own 3G WiFi connection. And that's not all this beauty can do. The 'solar concept tent', as it is currently known, is made out of photovoltaic fabric and boasts several adjustable top-mounted solar panels. On a sunny day, Orange's tent will be able to provide you with enough power to keep all of your gadgets up and running.
The tent contains a central wireless control hub LCD panel. The panel shows you how much energy is being generated and used, and also gives you control over the 3G WiFi. Charging your gizmos in the solar tent is easy. Just drop them into the charging pouch and magnetic induction will charge your stuff without any wires or plugs needed.

Orange Sony Micro Vault USB Drive
|
Gadget Store Fancylogic sent us the Sony
Micro Vault USB Stick for review. The first thing to say about this Sony USB
thumb-drive is that it is bright orange. The 128MB USB 2.0 Sony USB Stick comes
bundled with a photo and video management and presentation software. Also in the
package is a Sony neck strap. I did not care to test the software. The screen-shots on the package show a pretty nice user interface. See a couple of close-up photos of this Sony USB drive below. 128MB USB drives start already at a couple dollars. If you look for a Sony branded one that comes with a nice software and you like orange this USB drive is a great choice. The Sony Micro Vault USB drive sells for $36.50 on Fancylogic. There serveral other kinds of Sony Micro Vault USB Drives on the market. |

At the TRON 2004 Show Japanese Personal Media Company shows off the T-Cube a pocket-size PC running T-Engine.
T-Engine is somekind of OS standardization project for networked computers in Japan that started in 2002. Seems they want to build something that does not require to license Windows. Don't know why they not just adopt Linux.
The T-Cube runs the current T-Engine OS and uses a CPU from NEC VR5701. The desktop is written for the chinese Market supporting Multi- and Super-Chinese Character sets.
The T-Cube (tentative name) is supposed to ship in Q1 2004. Press-Release (Raw Translation)
