NVIDIA GeForce Power Pack includes Folding@home and Badaboom

NVIDIA announced new software that uses the processing power of GeForce video cards for other applications than graphics and games. The new GeForce Power Pack includes the Stanford University’s Folding@home distributed-computing, protein-folding client and a trial version of Elemental Technologies' Badaboom video transcoder.

The Sims 2 Apartment Life Expansion Pack Soundtrack Announced

The latest expansion pack for EA's The Sims 2 game has been announced and EA has released the artists who will be performing on the games soundtrack. The expansion pack puts players into apartment dwelling life. EA Says the game lets players choose a loft, bachelor pad, penthouse and more.

The expansion pack is slated for release on August 26th in America and August 22nd in Europe. Is it just me or does it seem like an expansion pack for The Sims is released monthly? You can get a partial list of artists on the sound track after the jump. Read more
