Palm Pixi Available November 15
The day has come, Palm fans; the Palm Pixi is available for pre-order. If everything goes as planned, the Pixi will be on sale for Sprint customers on November 15 for just $99.99. That price point pits the Pixi against the iPhone 3G, the current king of the middle-range smartphone.
In terms of hardware, the Pixi gets you a lot of bang for your buck. It runs Palm's webOS platform, and has a 2.63" multitouch display. It launches with Push support for email, a GPS, a 2 MP digital camera, accelerometer, ambient light, and proximity sensors. The Pixi has 8GB of internal storage, and a 3.5 MM headphone jack.

Palm Pixi: Not Out October 20?
Earlier today we reported on rumors that the Palm Pre would be out later this month, on October 20th. However, Engadget disagrees with this rumor. They claim that undisclosed sources in a position to know state that the Pixi will not be out on the 20th.

Palm Pixi Rumored To Launch October 20th
The new Palm webOS device the Palm Pixi is supposed to launch on October 20th according to sources of BoyGenius.
The open question is still at what price Sprint is going to offer the Palm Pixi. I only can see free as the only reason to get the Palm Pixi. The Palm Pre is already offered at below $100 on Amazon.com.

Today Palm announced the new Palm Pixi.
Formerly rumored as Palm Eos, the Palm Pixi features a compact with visible full keyboard.
Features of the Palm Pixi include 2.63-inch touch screen with 18-bit color 320x400px, 2MP camera, GPS, ambient light, accelerometer, and proximity sensors, 8GB Memory, Bluetooth, USB, and Dual-band CDMA2000, 3G: EvDO Rev A connectivity.
The Palm Pixi could be priced below $100 and will be available on Sprint. It has no Wi-fi, which is not good.
