Apple Tablet: Filled With Books, Newspapers, Textbooks?
Technically what we have today aren't really new iTablet rumors. Gizmodo has information that Apple has been shopping around the old media haunts for content deals. Now that they've conquered music, movie, and TV downloads, the next logical step is print.
Apparently Apple approached the New York Times back in June. They wanted to talk with the paper about putting their stories on a "new device", presumably the iTablet. Apple also talked with McGraw Hill and Oberlin Press, two major textbook manufacturers, and convinced them to move textbooks over to iTunes. Once Apple is ready, they'll start selling iTunes textbooks at a substantial discount. Unfortunately, these books will be DRM filled to prevent resale.

T-Mobile Drops Paper Fee
Earlier this Summer, T-Mobile decided to start charging users an extra $1.50 for receiving a paper bill. Apparently the complaints got through to T-Mo. InformationWeek reports that T-Mobile has decided to cancel the $1.50 charge.
T-Mo took a lot of slack when they attempted to characterize the price increase as something done out of environmental concern. New York State Attorney General Andrew Cuomo told the company that his office would, "not sit back and let a company change its prices under the guise of 'going green.'"

BioWare, a game developer under Electronic Arts, announced today that they will begin working with Green Ronin publishing to create a pen and paper RPG set in the world of their upcoming game, Dragon Age: Origins. We've talked about Dragon Age here before, and from what we've been able to gather it looks like BioWare is really going all out on this one.
BioWare's said several times that Dragon Age is supposed to be the 'spiritual successor' to the massively successful Baldur's Gate franchise. Considering the money, effort, and prestige that BioWare's invested into this project, we can expect them to continue to throw a huge degree of support behind Dragon Age.
