LOS ANGELES (Hollywood Reporter) - Overwhelmingly positive early reviews and buzz on Heath Ledger's turn as the Joker are producing some potentially batty forecasts for "The Dark Knight," which opens in North American theaters on Friday.

Yet there's just no denying that it will enjoy an impressive bow, likely in the low-$100 million range for the weekend.

Director Christopher Nolan and star Christian Bale reunite for the follow-up to 2005's "Batman Begins." That film opened on a Wednesday in mid-June, making $72.9 million during its first five days, of which $48.7 million came during the three-day weekend. It ended up with $205.3 million, the second-best performer in the "Batman" franchise after the original "Batman" in 1989 ($251.2 million).

Dell says that in Q1 2008 it captured 20.4% of the open systems external worldwide disk array storage market. Dell also says that its revenue in this market was $422 million. The closest competitor to Dell’s market dominance had an 18.5% share of the market and $385 million in revenue. Read more

We first reported on the Livescribe Pulse Smartpen back in January when it was seen at CES 2008. The pen captured handwriting while recording audio at the same time and syncs the audio to the writing.

Two different Pulse models are offered with one having 1GB of storage and the other having 2GB of storage. The bad part about the pens is that they require special paper to operate. The Livescribe Dot paper and other accessories will be available at Amazon.com and at Target stores starting on July 13th. The 1GB model is $149 and the 2GB is $199.
