New Digital Photo Frame Displays Multiple Pictures At Once
Westinghouse Digital Electronics announced yesterday their first product to use what they're calling MosaicView technology. The patent-pending technology allows digital picture frames to display more than one picture at one in a digital photo frame.
This has to be qualified a little bit, because there are digital frames out there that can bring up a thumbnail index. What Westinghouse is showcasing is a frame that is customizable to show, say, an entire screen of pictures you took on vacation, or even better display an entire slate of pictures of this month's I4U Gadget Model. For a better idea of this feature, see the GIF image at westinghouse.com.

Engadget reviews pre-release version of the upcoming Philips 7FF1AW digital photo display.
Quote:
"Philips' fledgling foray yields a digital photo display offering outstanding display quality and a swank, intuitive solution for getting those digital photos off your PC and into the living room.
Sure, as angst ridden hacks we always have a few gripes. The inclusion of some auto-sensing (instead of manual) brightness controls based on the ambient lighting conditions and a motion sensing sleep mode to extend the life of the display would be nice-to-haves.
