Canon Announces a Pair of New All-In-One Printers
Canon has announced a pair of new multifunction photo printers called the PIXMA MP480 and the PIXMA MP190. Both printers are designed for simple operation and maximum performance. Both printers also provide new features for enhanced scanning, copying, and photo printing.
The MP 480 all-in-one printer is equipped with 1.8-inch TFT color LCD display, and can be easily navigated with a control panel. The printer includes Auto Photo Fix, and uses Easy-Photo Fix software. The software is able to detect the type of photo being printed whether it's a portrait or scenery and can help correct facial tones, brightness, contrast, and color saturation without the need for manual photo editing Read more

Dell Adds Trio of New Laser Printers
Dell added three new laser printers to its portfolio along with enhanced printer services including ProSupport, installation and recycling options. The new printer models include the Dell 2135cn Multifunction Color Laser Printer, Dell 2130cn Color Laser Printer, and the Dell 3130cn Color Laser Printer.
The 2135cn is aimed at small and home offices with low to mid volume printer usage. The printer can output 12 pages per minute in color and 16 pages per minute in black along with the ability to copy as well. The 2135cn also features integrated Ethernet connectivity. The 2130cn is also aimed at the small/home office and can print 16-ppm color and 20-ppm monochrome. Options for it include wireless and Ethernet connectivity. The Dell 3130cn has a print speed of up to 26-ppm color and 31-ppm monochrome with a 70,000 page per month duty cycle. Read more

Polaroid PoGo Pocket-Size Printer first Look
Polaroid and Zink unveiled the Polaroid PoGo portable printer at the CES 2008 in January. Digital Trends just published a first look at this interesting pocket printer for mobile phones.

Konica Minolta Launches New C20P Network Printer
Konica Minolta announced a new network printer that will make life at the office much easier. The bizhub CP20 network ready laser printer is sized for small and medium size business. The printer is quiet at only 52 decibels and can print black and white as well as color pages at 25 ppm.

Canon Introduces Two New Selphy Photo Printers
Canon has introduced a pair of new compact photo printers in its Selphy line. The printers are the Selphy CP770 and the Selphy CP760. The CP770 is called the “cute” carry-it-all mobile printing solution and comes bundled in a carry basket that houses the printer and all the needed accessories like paper, ink and the power cord.
The CP770 has a 2.5-inch LCD and has an optional battery pack for completely mobile printing. The CP770 also supports IrSimple for printing from mobile phones or PDAs. The CP760 prints 4x6 photos and features a 2.5-inch TFT screen. The CP770- retails for $149.99 and the CP760 retails for $99.99. Read more

Kodak Launches ESP 5 AIO Printer
Kodak has made quite a name for itself in the all in one printer world with its line of high-performance printers that make great images and text documents while utilizing inks that cost as much as half of competitors products.
Kodak has introduced its latest printer called the ESP 5 All in one printer that prints, copies, and scans. The printer is sleek looking with a black color scheme and retails for $169.99. Make Your Own Temporary Tattoos from Your Printer
Lots of people probably like the idea of a tattoo but don’t want to have something permanent on their body they may not want when they get older. This and kids wanting to be tatted up are the main reasons temporary tattoos are popular.
A UK company called Crafty Computer Paper has some paper that allows you to make your own temp tattoos in your home using your computer and an inkjet printer. The tattoos are said to last a week if you don’t scrub them off and come off easily with soap and water when you tire of them. Read more

Samsung MultiXpress CLX 8380NC Color Laser Printer
Samsung announced a new laser printer today aimed at professional workgroups that has a very fast print speed of 40 ppm. The multifunction device can also scan and copy in addition to printing. Features include a standard 100 sheet automatic duplex document feeder that holds over 2,700 pages.
The 40 ppm print speed is in full color at 1200 x 1200 dpi resolution. The printer can be controlled from a 7-inch touch screen as well. An internal 80Gb hard drive inside the printer allows for collate printing, proof printing and more. The multi-function device also sends faxes. The price is as large as the feature list at an MSRP of $4999. Read more

Epson Announces CX9475Fax All-in-One Printer
Epson announced its latest printer today called the CX9475Fax. The printer is an all-in-one device that prints, scans and shares files over a network from anywhere in the office or home.

Xerox Phaser 6125 Color Laser Printer
Xerox launched it's lowest cost color laser office printer today called the Phaser 6125. The printer can put out 12 pages per minute in color and 16 pages per minute in black.
The best thing about the printer is the price, the Phaser 6125 retails for $349. The toner used is Xerox Emulsion Aggregation High Gloss toner, which uses less toner per page. "Xerox continues to shatter the perception that high-quality color printing is a luxury only large businesses can afford," said Russell Peacock, president, Xerox Office Group. "The Phaser 6125 is designed for customers looking for a color printer that can handle everything from sales proposals to promotional hand outs efficiently and cost effectively." Read more

Sony PictureStation DPP-FP95 and DPP-FP75 Printers
In addition to the new digital photo frames, Sony also announced a pair of new portable photo printers called the PictureStation DPP-FP95 and the DPP-FP75. Both printers produce 4 x 6 inch prints in about one minute and have one-touch printing and in-printer photo editing features.
The DPP-FP95 printer uses the Sony BIONZ digital imaging processor and is optimized for use with the Cyber-shot and Alpha DSLR cameras. Both printers also feature 3.5-inch LCD screens. Read more

On Tuesday we reported about Dell and Microsoft introducing Product (Red) Computers. Yesterday Bono, Bill Gates and Michael Dell officially revealed the (Red) Dell products in Davos, Switzerland.
The XPS One (PRODUCT) RED actually looks rather hot. It starts at $1,599 and contributes $80 to the Global Fund.

Canon Announces Two New Large Format Printers
Canon announced a pair of new large format printers today called the imagePROGRAF iPF9100 and iPF8100. Both printers use Canon’s twelve-color ink system with LUCIA pigments including four monochrome inks.
The iPF9100 can print 60-inch wide images and the iPF8100 prints 44-inch wide images. Both printers also support Kyuanos color management technology. The reformulated inks prevent bronzing of colors that happens when viewing at angles. Read more
