Razer Throws Lefties a Special DeathAdder Mouse
It must be tough for a gamer to be left handed in a world full of righties. You can’t really find a decent gaming mouse with an ambidextrous design meaning many lefties had to learn to game with their right hand. Razer has finally unveiled a new gaming mouse designed specifically for these lefties to use.
The DeathAdder Left Hand Edition is the first gaming mouse specifically designed for lefties and uses a 3.5G laser sensor. The mouse has the same features as the other DeathAdder mouse that we have seen before include five programmable buttons, 1000Hz ultrapolling and more. Read more

Razer Commits to Mac Gamers at GDC
Razer has been making some of the coolest gaming peripherals on the market for a long time and the company offered up its first Mac specific gaming mouse back in 2008. Things have been quiet on the Mac gaming front since then.
At GDC this week, Razer reaffirmed its commitment to Mac gamers with the announcement that it would increase support for Mac gamers by issuing drivers for all upcoming Razer products for the Mac system. Read more

Razer and Raptr Partner for Gaming Social Networking

Razer and a new company called Raptr have teamed up to add a social aspect to PC gaming with a new program billed as the first social platform that allows users to know is real-time what games their friends are playing across multiple platforms. Razer Megalodon and Moray Headphones Introduced
Razer has announced a pair of new gaming headphones called the Moray and the Megalodon. The Megalodon retails for $149.99 and features full 7.1 surround sound and a mic. The frequency response for the headphone is 20- 20,000 Hz and the mic features a unidirectional pickup pattern. Razer uses its new Maelstrom Audio Engine promising to process audio algorithm up to 800% faster than HRTF virtual surround technology.
The Moray is an in-ear style gaming headset that offers noise isolation as well. The Moray is suitable for gaming or music listening on the go. The Moray connects via a standard 3.5mm mini-jack making them suitable for most gaming devices. Pricing for the Moray is $39.99 and the frequency response is 20 to 11000 Hz. Both headphones will be available in Q4 2008. Read more

Razer Launches Entry Level Salmosa Gaming Mouse
Razer announced a new entry level gaming mouse at CeBIT today called the Salmosa. The Salmosa is billed as the lightest mouse in its class and is priced at $39.99, making it the cheapest gaming mouse in the Razer line.
The mouse uses an 1800 dpi optical sensor, 1000Hz ultrapolling, mechanical polling and dpi rate switches, On-the-Fly sensitivity adjustment, Always-on mode and large non-slip buttons. The size of the mouse is 115mm long x 63mm wide x 37mm high. Availability is set for Q3 2008. Read more

Today we are looking at the latest mouse pad from Razer called the Destructor. Razer promises much improved tracking for both optical and laser gaming mice when used with the Destructor.
