HTC Touch HD rumored to be next Android Phone T-Mobile G2
The HTC Touch HD has many, including me, already excited as it features this amazing 3.8 inch screen with 800x480px resolution. A rumor sprung up that HTC is working to bring Android onto the HTC Touch HD.
Android fans already named the rumored phone T-Mobile G2. For early adopters the HTC Touch HD would be a boon, as it outperforms the iPhone 3G in all dimensions. Besides the screen the HTC Touch HD features a 5MP camera, 2nd VGA camera, GPS, Bluetooth, and Wi-Fi.

Walmart rumored to sell the Apple iPhone 3G starting November 15th
Besides AT&T and Apple Stores the iPhone 3G is already sold at electronics retailer Best Buy. Now BoyGeniusReport quotes sources saying that Walmart is supposed to start selling the iPhone 3G starting November 15th.
The Apple iPhone 3G is the 2nd best selling mobile phone in the United States. It makes sense for Walmart to carry this "mass market" product. Wal-mart of course already sells the Motorola RAZR V3, which is top selling phone in the States.

New MacBook rumored to feature Blu-ray
Yesterday Jason Calacanis started to spread an Apple rumor about networked Apple HDTVs. Today Digg's Kevin Rose hits back with a rumor that Blu-ray drives would finally come to Apple Computers.
Kevin Rose said at an event in London that the new MacBooks to be announced on Tuesday will have Blu-ray drives.

Apple networked LCD HDTVs rumored
Had enough of the Apple MacBook rumors? How about a fresh Apple rumor? Jason Calacanis told CNET UK that Apple is working on networked LCD HDTVs. The Apple LCD HDTV would be able to stream all your iTunes content from your Mac or PC. Basically the Apple TV box would be integrated in the TV sets.
There is no further meat to this rumor. I am not really seeing Apple jumping into the TV business. Yes they make nice big LCD monitors, but the market for TVs is very different.

NVIDIA MCP79 Chipset at the Center of new Apple MacBooks rumored
The rumor that NVIDIA chips will be used in the new Apple MacBoooks Apple will announce next Tuesday has been hinted at since July. Last week the NVIDIA MacBook rumor has been renewed and now got more specific. PC Perspective claims that Apple is using the NVIDIA MCP79 Chipset.
The integrated graphics chipset would deliver new levels of power savings and outperform the integrated Intel graphics solution.

Best Buy Introduces Blue Label Products Inspired by Customers
Best Buy has introduced its Blue Label series of products that were developed from customer feedback. The products in the Blue Label line are constructed with input from Best Buy by consumer electronics companies like Toshiba and HP.
The first two products in the line are the Toshiba Satellite E105-S1402 we talked about yesterday and the HP Pavilion dv3510nr. Input from customers resulted in notebooks with backlit keyboards, thin and light designs and warranties at no charge. Both notebooks will be available at Best Buy starting October 5th. Read more

New Apple MacBook rumored at low $800 Price
A new exciting MacBook rumor has sprung up. According to The Inquisitr Apple will have a new low priced MacBook.
Apparently Apple retailers would have gotten price lists indicating that MacBook prices would start at $800. This would mark the first sub-$1000 MacBook.
Currently the lowest priced MacBook sells for $1,099. A $800 MacBook would be attractive to many consumers.

T-Mobile G1 Pre-order Sales runs red hot
T-Mobile says that there is overwhelming demand for the first Google Android phone and the company is offering up more T-Mobile G1 for pre-order.
If you have pre-ordered your T-Mobile G1 before October 3rd you are supposed to get it as early as October 22nd.
If you pre-order a G1 now through October 21st you will get your Android phone on November 10th. Of course there are no guarantees with these delivery dates.

HP rumored to release Windows Smart Phone
The WSJ published a report that HP is supposedly close to releasing a Windows smart phone.
The HP phone is said to be first introduced in Europe and will also be marketed to consumers.
Features of the HP smart phone would include Windows Mobile 6.1 OS, touchscreen and keypad.

Wii HD rumored for 2011
A story on What They Play gets some attention today as it talks about Nintendo prepping a new Wii to be released in 2011.
According to the site's sources Nintendo is already showing presentations of a so called Wii HD to developers.
It is of course very natural for Nintendo to step up the graphics power of the Wii in the next generation of the hyper successful console.

Director picked to pilot Lucasfilm's ''Red Tails''

runway, ready for takeoff.
Anthony Hemingway, who has directed episodes of "The Wire," "CSI: NY" and "ER,"
will helm the long-gestating World War II film. John Ridley has written the
script. Lucas will serve as executive producer on the Lucasfilm feature, which
will shoot in Prague, Italy, Croatia and England.

New Nintendo DS rumored for Holidays
The Nintendo DS is due for an update and new reports from Japan indicate that Nintendo would release a new DS in time for the Holidays.
Update: Nintendo DSi has been announced
The new Nintendo DS is rumored to include two touch screen (currently only one has a touch interface), a built-in camera, and SD card slot.
The SD Card slot would allow you to finally store data like music on the DS. It could also be used to exchange data with the Wii.

EU's Reding confirms Caps on roamed SMS: Magazine
FRANKFURT (Reuters) - The price of texting in Europe will set at a maximum rate
of 11 euro cents per message under a European Commission proposal, EU telecoms
Commissioner Viviane Reding told German magazine Der Spiegel.
Telephone calls will have to be billed by the second and competition for
accessing the internet abroad will be increased, Reding told Der Spiegel in a
pre-released story to be published on Sunday.

Credant Says Tons of Mobiles Left in Taxies
Credant Technologies announced the results of a survey today that shows passengers in Taxi's in New York City have left behind 31,544 mobile phones and over 2,752 other handheld devices like laptops and iPods.
The study also reports Taxi drivers say that 44% of passengers in the cab spend their time catching up on work, on the phone or sending email. Almost 2/3 of NYC cab drivers report that owners get their devices back. In London, about 80% of passengers in cabs get their items back. Read more

New fun Gates and Seinfeld Commercial aired
Microsoft released a new commercial featuring Bill Gates and Jerry Seinfeld to promote Windows Vista.
The first one showed Bill Gates and Jerry Seinfeld in a shoe store. The new ad shows them moving in with "real people". The ads are hilarious and show that Bill Gates could join a sitcom cast anytime if he gets bored doing good things for mankind.
The page hosting the videos on the Microsoft site says that very soon, the campaign will turn toward communicating specifically about Windows brand and the products that carry the Windows flag.

Tool and Sting to be Featured in Rock Band World Tour
Activision announced that Guitar Hero World Tour would feature Sting and the rock band Tool. Activision says that the game will have the largest music catalog of any Guitar Hero game ever published. Sting's voice will be used in the game and his likeness as a playable character.
Tool will not add any playable characters to the game just their music including hits like Parabola, Schism, and Vicarious.
Everyone on the planet probably already knows that Guitar Hero World Tour will take a cue from Rock Band and offer vocals, drums and guitar play. The game will also include a Music Studio to let players customize their own songs for play in the game. The game will also support online multi-player play. Read more
