Apple unveiled the new iMac line for fall including the 21.5-inch and 27-inch models on Tuesday.
WSJ's Walt Mossberg keeps his new iMac review, published today, short and crisp. He can recommend the iMac and says that the iMac has spectacular screens. I was expecting to find more iMac reviews already yesterday, but as it looks the in-depth iMac reviews are still sparse.

Apple unveiled the new Magic Mouse on Tuesday. The first Magic Mouse reviews have been published and it looks like the new Apple mouse is getting a mixed reception.
The overall consensus is still that the Magic Mouse is the best mouse Apple ever made, but there are ergonomic issues that according to CNET does not make it a full desktop mouse. They see the Magic Mouse more a portable Laptop companion.

Windows Mobile 6.5 Reviews Confirm The Obvious
Microsoft launched Windows Mobile 6.5 officially today. Microsoft itself sees WinMo 6.5 as a transitional release to pass the time to Windows Mobile 7 that is supposed to come in 2010.
The Windows Mobile 6.5 reviews on Gizmodo and Engadget for instance hightlight that Microsoft did not really change much in this release and it is more a 6.2 release. How is it possible that Microsoft dropped the ball on their mobile OS? Palm's brand new webOS or of course Apple's iPhone OS just make it look old.

HTC Hero Reviews complain about Performance
The cute looking new HTC Hero gets a rather big thumbs down from new reviews as the hardware is just all-too weak for running this version of Android.
I just needed 5 minutes with the HTC Hero last week to figure this out. On the outside the HTC Hero looks sexy and the UI looks neat at first glance, but if you start using it starts to suck.

Asus Eee T91 Reviews
The Asus Eee T91 is now shipping. Several sites already published T91 reviews. Find a list of reviews at the end of this post.
The Asus Eee T91 is not the first touchscreen netbook, but has been eagerly awaited since its announcement at the CES 2009.
The reviews are a bit mixed, mostly because a tablet is not really exciting for everybody. Sure we like to finger the iPhone, but a big tablet is in my experience not replacing a netbook or notebook. The Asus T91 is a convertible device and also has a keyboard, which makes it attractive to more people.

Sony Playstation Home gets mixed Reviews after two Weeks
Sony's virtual world Playstation Home has been in open beta for two weeks now. I have been looking around a bit and visually it is stunning. The interface is easy to use. Voice or keypad is essential though to have meaningful conversations. Overall the virtual PS3 world still feels empty in regards to users and content. Today two big newspapers published reviews about Sony Playstation Home putting their fingers on the current problems.
The Washington Post mentions a good way to make friends in their review. The author bought a snowman head and dressed his avatar in a business suit. This getup apparently made him very popular with the ladies in Playstation Home.

Engadget says in their comprehensive review that the BlackBerry Storm is gorgeous to look at and hold, but it's not as easy, enjoyable, or consistent to use as the iPhone.
Several reviews highlight the lack of Wi-fi in the BlackBerry Storm, which really sucks.
Also several reviewers complain about the OS lag and sluggish UI. Looks like a BlackBerry Storm software update is needed badly.

Windows 7 Pre-Beta Reviews
I still remember how excited I was when I got my hands on the beta of Windows NT. Since then many years have past and I do not have the nerves and time anymore to install pre releases of operating systems to see what is coming. These days an OS just has to work and get out of my way.
It's a good thing that others still have the nerves to play with pre-beta operating systems, like the new Windows 7 that Microsoft released last week at the PDC 2008. After all I also want to know if the days of my XP system are going to end soon or not and if the future is going to be a better place.

Blogs and Product Reviews Significantly Influence Mobile Buyers says Report
A new report from ad-ology shows that 60.5% of consumers who recently purchased a mobile phone said that online product reviews and user comments weighed significantly in their buying decisions. The reports show that 30% of people felt that blogs had the same level of influence on buying decisions.
Key findings showed that buyers likely to rate online blogs and reviews highly tended to be 18 to 34 year olds with higher than average incomes. 26.3% of buyers said they prefer to buy online rather than in a store. The price of the phone isn't as important to most buyers as the phone quality and the quality of the mobile network. Read more

Google Chrome Reviews
Now that the Google Chrome Browser is released the reviews of the new Google Browser are plenty. I posted a brief first impression of Chrome yesterday. I am though already back in my old ways using IE7 for surfing and Firefox for monitoring sites with the great Update Scanner Add-on.
Google Chrome is great, but it is really hard to change old routines. The reviews of Chrome are shiny, but they also raise the question if it will make users switch from their current browsers. In any case it is of course best to try Google Chrome for yourself, but take a look at the reviews below to see what others think about the new Google browser.
