Amazon.com is supposed to sell the Sony PS3 SIXAXIS controller for just $20 on Black Friday. The normal price is $44.99.

Sony PS3 Rumble SIXAXIS spotted at TGS 2007
Today at the TGS 2007 show in Japan EA already demoed a game with a Sony PS3 SIXAXIS controller that had the rumble so many have called for.

Sony PS3 rumble DualShock 3 is official
IGN reports that at the EA press event while playing Burnout Paradise the PS3 controller was vibrating.
The new PS3 controllers look exactly the same as the currents ones but are a bit heavier.

Rumble SIXAXIS Controller coming with 80GB Sony PS3?
Today Sony announced the 80GB Sony PS3 for the U.S. market and published a photo of the packaging. The Register runs a story that on the package the SIXAXIS controller shows the Playstation sign lit up in red.
This leads us to the assumption (right or wrong, we do not know yet) that the 80GB Sony PS3 is shipping with a rumble SIXAXIS controller.
Anybody who owns a PS2 knows that the rumble feature is indicated by a red led on the controller.

The image of the SIXAXIS controller offered on Amazon also shows the red PS3 logo. Not sure since when: Sony PS3 Controller on Amazon.com

Gaming accessory company Talismoon releases the second generation of its Tiltboard controller for the Xbox 360.
This comes in particularly handy for instances in games when it is necessary to switch between both stick and tilt control.

God of War 3 for Sony PS3 to have Rumble SIXAXIS?
At the God of War 2 launch event comments have been made that God of War 3 for the Sony PS3 will support rumble.
We reported about Sony coming to an agreement with Immersion about the force feedback technology about 2 weeks ago. The comments about God of War 3 to support rumble fit right in.

Road to Sony PS3 SIXAXIS Rumble is Free
Immersion Corporation and Sony Computer Entertainment (SCE) today announced the companies have agreed to conclude their patent litigation at the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit and have entered into a new business agreement to explore the inclusion of Immersion technology in PlayStation format products.
Many believe there is no rumble in the PS3 SIXAXIS controller because of the patent issue with Immersion. Now it is possible that the Sony PS3 will get a new controller with force feedback as many Sony gamers requested. Better late than never.

Splitfish SensorFX adds Rumble to Sony PS3 SIXAXIS
Gaming accessory company Splitfish already brought motion sensing to the PS2 controller. Now the bring rumble back onto the Sony PS3 controller with the SensorFX.
To avoid issues with Immersion’s Rotating Mass Patent, Splitfish uses technology with no moving parts. We are in contact with Splitfish about a photo of the SensorFX, but they do not have one yet.
It will be interesting how well this works. Splitfish is creative that is for sure. We got in contact with them back in 2005 when they introduced the eyeFX 3D glasses for the PS2.

PS3 SIXAXIS Feeling on the Sony PS2
SplitFish GameWare Inc. introduces the MotionFX adapter for Sony PSOne and PS2 that adds tilting control similar to the Sony PS3 SIXAXIS controller.
The MotionFX clips onto a Sony PSOne and PS2 controllers. 5,000 games are supposed to work with the add-on.
Major game retailer Gamestop sells the MotionFX TiltSense Adapter for $39.99.

Photos of Dissected Sony PS3 SIXAXIS Controller
The ChinaGBA site has tons of photos of a Sony PS3 SIXAXIS controller, including photos from the inside.
The photos feature the battery (no jokes please), chips, circuit boards, joysticks, anything that is inside the next generation Playstation controller. This is a pretty interesting spread of photos.
The price of $49.99 looks fair for the SIXAXIS seeing all this parts inside. Of course lots of people will miss the good old rumble.

Fly a Virtual Paper Plane with the Sony PS3 SIXAXIS
Sony published a new section on its Sony Playstation 3 site in Japan showing a Sony PS3 SIXAXIS controller in virtual action.
The neat little simulation on the Playstation 3 site shows a virtual paper plane. You can click on each of the six directional icons and see the respective movement you have to perform with controversial SIXAXIS controller..
