Sanyo announced new gadgets powered by the rechargeable eneloop batteries including the new eneloop Solar light.
The eneloop solar light is equipped with the proprietary high efficiency HIT solar cell, a product originally developed by Sanyo, installed in various roof forms worldwide.
The light stores the energy in eneloop batteries inside and can be used as flashlight or roomlight.

Sanyo announces the Sanyo PLV-Z60 projector, a 720p LCD projector that features 3D color management system, a high contrast ratio of 10,000:1, an installation-friendly lens shifting function, and many other features representing a step forward in price performance for a home theater projector.
The Sanyo PLV-Z60 is equipped with three wide 16:9 HD LCD panels that produce a 1280 x 720 pixels (2.76 million) image.

SANYO C- and D-sized eneloop Batteries and Universal Charger unveiled
Sanyo finally adds C and D cell eneloop batteries to their great pre-charged, rechargeble battery product line.
The AA and AAA eneloop batteries have been available for a while now and I have almost replaced all my batteries to use eneloop. I still have several gadgets that need the bigger C and D cell batteries, including the power hungry WowWee robot.
The new eneloop Universal Charger can charge all eneloop battery sizes from the smallest, AAA, to the largest, D. With advanced charging technology including voltage monitoring to prevent overcharging, the Universal Charger also has LED lights to indicate charge status.

The Sanyo Xacti HD800 features 8MP resolution and records video with a maxium of 720p HD resolution.

Sanyo Announces a Pair of Super Bright Projectors
Sanyo announced the introduction of a pair of new projectors today called the PLC-XT20/L and PLC-XT30L. The projectors are billed as super bright and are aimed at the business and education markets. The ET30L boasts a brightness of 4200 ANSI Lumens and a 1300:1 contrast ratio.
The screen resolution for the printer is 1400 x 1050. The XT21 has a brightness of 4000 lumens and a screen resolution of 1024 x 768. The contrast ratio for it is 1000:1. Inputs include D-Sub, DVI-D, component and composite via BNC, RCA composite, and S-video. Read more

Sanyo Announces PLC-XW60 Projector
Sanyo announced a new projector today called the PLC-XW60. Sanyo calls the projector the industries smallest and lightest XGA LCD projector. The XW60 weighs only 3.6 pound and is small enough to be carried in one hand.
The projector measures in at 10.4-inches W x 2.176-inches H x 7.40-inches D. Sanyo used new lighter optical components for the projector allowing it to reduce the lamp size by 39% and a new reflector design for a 44% lighter lens. Read more
