The system is a slim, all-in-one design that uses a touch screen and has very low power requirements. The system uses a Via Eden 1.0GHz CPU that requires no fan.

It can also be optioned with a faster ViaC7 1.50GHz CPU with a low noise fan. The Evergreen 17 runs on Windows XP Pro or Windows XP Embedded. A Linux version is also available. The computer can be ordered with SSDs from 1GB to 64GB of storage capacity. Normal HDDs with 60GB to 250GB are available as well. The system starts at $1195. Read more

The device also features a USB port onboard for attaching a compatible hard drive for storage.

The device attaches to the TV and digital video files or photos can be played back directly on the TV screen from attached flash drives, hard drives and Iomega REV drives. Video output options include HDMI, component, composite, and SCART. Audio connectivity includes RCA and S/PDIF. Supported resolutions include 480p, 720p, and 1080i.
