Ainol V9000 'Megatron' PMP Has 4.8'' Screen
There's an unseen downside to writing about technology for a living. Every week brings a slew of rumors and official info on hot new devices coming down the pipe. I fall in love with a new gadget about every eight hours, more often during the Christmas season. The sheer amount of awesome deals on badass gizmos is enough to drive a man to bankruptcy. Usually I'm able to clamp down on my techno-lust, but not this time. If and when Ainol's new V9000 PMP hits the United States, I doubt I'll be able to stop myself from buying one. (via Akihabara News)
This sweet new Chinese PMP is nicknamed the 'Megatron', and for good reason. It has a solid, industrial-looking design that frames its enormous 4.8" screen nicely. The Megatron can render 1080p video, and also features an HDMI port. It's got 16 GB of internal storage, a DM Tuner, and a 2450 mAH battery.

The Sony Ericsson Kurara: 720p Recording+AMOLED screen=Hot
I'm currently in a committed relationship with my Android smartphone, but that doesn't mean I have to stop looking at other devices. Some of them I might even want to oggle lecherously while sweating and mumbling under my breath. That might make me sound like a bit of a freak, but the Ericsson Kurara really does look that hot.
This new smartphone was leaked out on an Ericsson fan forum and brought into the English-speaking blogosphere by Boy Genius. As best we can tell, the Kurara is an S60-running smartphone with an 8.1 MP camera, like the Rachel. Unlike the Rachel, the Kurara's camera is supposed to be able to record in 720p HD. The Kurara is also rumored to pack an AMOLED screen, although that's impossible to confirm with the photos we have.

New Windows Mobile 7 Screens Leak
Microsoft needs to get Windows Mobile 7 out the door as fast as possibly to avoid losing even more ground. The Windows Mobile 6.5 did underwhelm quite a bit.

enTourage eDGe: The First Dual-Screen E-Reader
Well gang, Microsoft's Courier has been beaten to the punch by enTourage. They've just released the enTourage eDGe (via Gizmodo), a dual-screen E-Reader/Android tablet. Sure, it doesn't have the style, the incredible UI design, or the outstanding potential for organizational tasks that Microsoft's Courier does. But right now, it has one massive advantage over Redmond's slumbering giant; it exists.
The eDGe is not the sexiest gadget ever built. On the outside, it looks pretty much exactly like a netbook. Unfolding it reveals two screens. One, a 9.7" E-Ink screen that can read ePub and PDF files. The other, a 10.1" color LCD touchscreen that houses an Android tablet. The eDGe has WiFi, optional 3G, Bluetooth, and the ability to record video and audio.

Apple Building Touchscreen Remote?
Go ahead and sprinkle out a few big grains of salt before reading any further. This rumor sounds a bit wild, but I think there's at least a germ of truth at the center of it. Boy Genius just received news from an "Apple tipster" with a history of accuracy. He sent them a picture of a "product mockup" that he thought was likely to "coincide with the launch of a revised Apple TV."
We half expected to hear new Apple TV news at their Rock and Roll conference; an update to the line has been due for a while. This product appears to be a very long touchscreen remote for your Apple TV system. It looks like a bit more than just a remote though. On the menu we can see options for photos, Safari, music, podcasts, and network options.

iTwinge iPhone Keyboard Is For Touchscreen Haters
I for my part have no issues typing on the iPhone. I actually find it very comfortable. If you love the iPhone, but hate to type on the touchscreen you could try the iTwinge. A simple, but kind of interesting accessory for the iPhone that gives you the feel and tactile feedback of a real keyboard.
The iTwinge slides over your iPhone and covers the keyboard area in portrait mode. This alone makes it a no go for me as I use the landscape keyboard when available.
