Acer A1 Liquid Is Powerful, Sexy

Acer, Dell, and Asus are all computer manufacturers that have tried their hand at building a smartphone. Asus worked with Garmin to create the sub-par (and too-late released) Nuvifone, while Dell's 3i has yet to leave China (and doesn't sound very impressive, spec-wise). Acer is the only one of the three that seems to really be taking their smartphone offerings seriously. The A1 Liquid is set to be one of the most powerful smartphones in the world, and it looks like it's going to have one hell of a gorgeous UI.

HDBlog.it (via Giz) has a whole gallery of pics. Acer has put in a single homescreen toggle that allows you to switch your WiFi, GPS, Bluetooth, and other functions on-or-off. They've also put in an alt-tab-like task manager, as well as a brand new dialer. It's clear that Acer isn't just throwing together an Android smartphone to take advantage of the craze. They've put some dedication into this machine.

Sexy Toshiba Smartphones Could Hit Holiday 09

Windows Mobile 6.5 isn't exactly an exciting OS. It's been panned by reviewers and customers alike for being too little, too late. That said, the release of 6.5 could still herald some very cool things; like Toshiba's new line of WinMo 6.5 smartphones. According to Akihabara News (via Gizmodo) at least one of these slick new Toshiba beauties could be released before the end of 2009.

Both new smartphones, the K01 and the K02, were displayed at CEATEC recently. The K01 is a thin, glossy QWERTY slider with a 4.1" capacitive touchscreen, a 1 GHz processor, and a 3.2 MP camera. The K02 is a clamshell phone with a 3.5" resistive touchscreen, and a second dual screen that might display a touchscreen keyboard.

New LG Scarlet LH70 unveiled by sexy Photo Model

LG unveiled a new slim LCD TV in its Scarlet TV series with the new LG LH70.
Last year LG launched the Scarlet TVs with a neat little PR stunt, when they made it look like the launch of a new TV show.
The new LG LH70 comes in 42 inches and 47 inches screen sizes and is only 39.7mm and 40.9mm thin respectively.
Other features of the LG LH70 include 100,000:1 contrast ratio, 120Hz, 2ms response time, touch sensitive power button, Bluetooth for wireless headsets, USB, and LG's IQ Green power management. Read more

Wired reports about a host service provider that manages sites for Christian churches, some of his customers do not want to have their domains hosted by GoDaddy anymore because of their Super Bowl ads.

Peta Super Bowl 2009 Ad too sexy for NBC

The animal protection organization wanted to air a sexy Super Bowl Ad to promote the Vegetarian life style. NBC deemed the Peta Commercial too hot for TV.

New Survey Claims Women Like Blogging Better than Sex

Intel has commissioned a new survey that shows its products are better than sex… sort of. The study actually shows that 46% of women would rather go without sex for two weeks than give up the Internet for that long. Damn you MySpace.

The numbers are larger in certain age groups of women with 49% of women 18 to 34 saying Internet is better than sex, and 53% of women 35 to 44. Only 30% of guys on the other hand according to the survey would give up sex for two weeks rather than the Internet. Read more

LG and Samsung sexy Phone Girls at the CommunicAsia 2008

LG and Samsung pushed out photos featuring models with the phones the companies exhibit at the CommunicAsia 2008 in Singapore. There are no real new phones, but the photos are nice to look at, especially the ones from LG.

LG only released photos and some highlights of the new Black Label handset. They did not even reveal the name of the new very thin looking slider style phone.

LG Electronics announced its smartphone line-up for the CTIA 2008 show in Las Vegas. If the touchscreen and QWERTY keyboard boasting smartphone are not sexy enough for you, the new LG models sure are.

LG will show this week at the CTIA 2008 the LG-CU920, LG-VX9100, LG-VX9900, LG-AX830, LG-KF700 and LG-KF510.

JWin Electronics had apparently a flashy booth at the Korean KES 2007 trade-show last week.

JWin is known here for their iLuv brand featuring several iPod accessories.

At the KES 2007 they introduced audio acessories amongst them short cut tops or bikinis with integrated iPod control buttons.
