Shuttle Launches New SFF SP35P2 Pro Computer
The Shuttle name is synonymous with small form factor computing. Today shuttle announced a new SFF barebones XPC machine called the SP35P2 Pro, which is the successor to the SD39P2.
The SP35P2 Pro has enough space on the small mainboard for up to 8GB of DDR2-800 RAM. Four SATA2 ports are available enabling RAID functionality and the machine has two eSATA ports on the rear panel. Read more

Shuttle Launches New SN68PTG6 Deluxe AM2 SFF Computer
Shuttle released a new barebones AM2 computer today that packs in the NVIDIA GeForce 7050PV / nForce 630a chipset. The system supports current AMD AM2 processors and future multicore AM2 processors as well.
The system supports up to 4GB of DDR2-800 RAM in dual channel mode. The graphics are Vista compatible and it can output HDMI via a DVI to HDMI adapter. Connectivity options include WLAN, gigabit LAN, and Bluetooth. A speed-Link function is included allowing direct USB connections between PCs and a pair of eSATA ports is available for external drives. Read more

Shuttle Introduces New SN68SG2 Small Form Factor Barebone Kit
Today shuttle announced another new small form factor barebone computer system known as the SN68SG2. The new machine is based on the NVIDIA 7025/nforce 630a chipset and supports AMD AM2 socket processors.
The machine comes equipped with up to 4GB of DDR2-800 RAM, solid capacitors, Gigabit LAN and several SATA and eSATA connectors. The NVIDIA GeForce 7025 graphics chip supports DirectX 9 and is Vista compatible. Read more

Shuttle Introduces New SFF Barebones Media Center
Shuttle is well known as purveyors of some of the smallest computers on the market to the point that the name is almost synonymous with SFF computing. Today they announced a new SFF system in Germany that is intended for use as a media center.
The barebones SG33G5M system is built around the Intel G33 Express chipset and loaded with lots of features. The rig has an HDMI out and ships with a VFD display and a remote. Internal expansion slots include one PCI-E x16 and 1 PCI slot, a gigabit LAN, three SATA ports, and 2 e-SATA ports. Graphics are DX9 via an Intel GMA3100 graphics processor. Bird Droppings on Space Shuttle Discovery
I never saw bird droppings on the Starship Enterprise. A realistic detail the series designers forgot.
While scanning the Discovery for damages, NASA astronauts found bird droppings on the surface of the Shuttle. We all know that bird droppings are sticky, but I did not think they would stay on when blasting into space.
NASA says the droppings definitely disintegrate when entering the earth atmosphere.
