Sony Introduces World's Smallest AVCHD HD Camcorder
Today Sony is showing off three new camcorders that record in full 1080 video on Memory Stick Media and internal HDD. While the release doesn’t come out and say 1080p or 1080i, it does say full HD which in Sony speak means 1080i not 1080p.
The first new model is the HDR-CX7 which is the world’s smallest and lightest HD camcorder. Those with Blu-ray or HD DVD burners should be able to archive the videos in full HD as well.
The next new model is the HDR-SR7 AVCHD which utilizes a built in 60GB HDD good for 22 hours of full HD 1080 video. The final model is the HDR-SR5 which only differs in the size of the HDD which is only 40GB. Both versions use Sony’s HDD protection to reduce data loss and can connect to your PC for editing and backup. Read more

New iPod shuffle is World's Smallest Portable Audio Player
Apple introduced the new iPod shuffle with a stylish clip design yesterday.
Apple calls the new shuffle the World's smallest digital music player. With 0.5 cubic inch (8.19cm3) (without the clip) I need to agree it is the world's smallest portable audio player.
For me an important distinction is though that the iPod shuffle does not have a display.
So comparing the shuffle to the MobiBlu Cube DAH-1500i is not a valid comparison. The MobiBlu Cube (volume: 13,82cm3) is still the world's smallest audio player featuring a display (something many consider as essential).
