Monster Turbine In-Ear Speakers Launch
Monster isn’t new to the headphone market and first introduced the Beats by Dre headphones a while back. The company is back with its first set of in-ear headphones called Turbine headphones. According to Monster the sound is so big they had to call them speakers.
The drivers are 8mm and engineered for bass and clarity you expect from speakers. Included with Turbine headphones are five pairs of sound isolating eartips in multiple sizes. The headphones use Monster cable technology as well including its Magnetic FluxTube and MicroStrand conductors. Read more

New LG Scarlet LG80 LCD TV slides out hidden Speakers
Today LG unveiled the LG Scarlet LG80 LCD HDTV. The new LG80 joins the LG60 and LG70 in the LG Scarlet TV series. The LG Scarlet LG80 has cool slide-out speakers that automatically appear when you switch on the new Scarlet.
This feature adds a bit of B&O coolness to this new LG TV. LG also claims it improves the sound quality of the 3.1-channel virtual surround sound system of the LG80.
The 3.1 sound system of the new LG Scarlet has 50W output performance and consists of four speakers tuned by Mr. Mark Levinson.

Harmon Kardon GLA-55 Ice Queen Speakers
Harmon Kardon unveiled some new speakers that look like they are crafted out of ice at IFA 2008 in Berlin. The speakers are called the GLA-55 and are see through. Harmon Kardon makes a serious claim calling them arguably the best 2.0 speakers ever made.

B&W Launches new CM Series Loudspeakers
Bowers & Wilkins introduced a new line of home theater loudspeakers to go along with the new woofer. The speakers are called the CM Series Loudspeakers and come in several models. Available are a 3-way floorstander, large stand-mount, and a center channel.
The speakers are available in several different wood grain veneers. The CMP is a 3-way floor standing speaker with a 25mm dome tweeter, 150mm Kevlar FST midrange driver and dual 165mm paper/Kevlar bass drivers. New iRiver LPlayer features the coolest Speaker Dock
During CES 2008 in January iRiver already unveiled some details about the LPlayer. iRiver has now fully launched the Lplayer (L-Player) in Korea.
iRiver gave the Lplayer a very clean look and because the Lplayer features the d-click user interface, there are not many visible buttons to disturb the clean look.

Logitech Announces Pure-Fi Mobile Speaker System
Logitech announced a new mobile speaker system today that promises to turn your low-fi mobile phone music into hi-fi sound called the Logitech Pure-Fi Mobile speaker system. The system allows you to listen to music from your mobile phone without having to dock or plug your phone into the speakers.
The system works with Bluetooth A2DP enabled phones to wirelessly stream sound to the speakers with a range of up to 33 feet. The system has 2-inch drivers and dual 2-inch pressure drivers.
