Logitech Squeezebox Duet Network Music System Review
TheTechLounge published a Logitech Squeezebox Duet Network Music System review.
Quote from the review: "This evolution of the Squeezebox should prove to be a winner for its new parent company. All the makings of a good sequel are there; extra goodies, unexpected surprises, a flashy new look and a slimmer and trimmer appearance. Logitech is unapologetically aiming squarely at Sonos with this one. Are the two systems direct competitors? Not exactly, but Logitech is bound to take a bite and woo away a few dollar conscious, tech savvy buyers. The included options and features are almost overwhelming to the average user. Acclimating oneself to all the various settings and streaming music account configurations
takes a bit of time but pays out in a multitude of listening options.

Cool Pandora Personal Radio Available on the Slim Devices Squeezebox
Slim Devices announces the support of the Pandora personalized radio stream on the Squeezebox audio streaming device.
I just tried the Pandora music service that is based on the Music Genome Project, and it is amazing. You type in a song or artist and it will generate automatic a set of songs similar to your query. It even gives you a sentence or two on why it recommends the selected titles. One funny thing is that it will not play your selected song right away due to license limitation at least on the free player on the Pandora site (see screenshot below). Give it a try, it really is great way to find new artists and songs that match your taste.
Squeezebox CEO says about Pandora: "The first time I used Pandora on my Squeezebox, I was glued to my listening chair for the entire weekend. I used to get the thrill of finding a new song I liked once a week. Now I feel it one song after another, listening to any style of music."
I reviewed the latest Squeezebox V3 last November.

Slim Devices Squeezebox V3 Network Music Player Review
Last year I reviewed the
Roku Labs
Soundbridge network music player.
This year I have the pleasure to test the competing
Squeezebox from Slim Devices.
More precisely I am taking a look at their brand new and ultra-stylish
Squeezebox V3, which Slim
Devices announced in October.
Besides it's great looks the new
Squeezebox V3 lets users stream music from a PC or directly from the
Internet via the Squeeze Network. As a trendy goody, the Squeezebox
V3 can display news via RSS feeds. See photos of the Squeezebox V3 in the
Gallery and read the
review to find out how this new audio
streamer performs.

Slim Devices Squeezebox Wireless Music Player Review
DesignTechnica has an exclusive Review about the Slim Devices Squeezebox Wireless Music Player.
Quote:
"While the company Slim Devices has been around for over two years, we only
just learned of their SLIMP3 networked music player this summer. We checked
out the SLIMP3 for a review and loved it. In that review, we mentioned that
the only thing it lacks are digital outputs and wireless capabilities.
Just as if the folks at Slim Devices had catered to our every whim, only a
week after we posted our review of their SLIMP3 they were telling us of
their new networked media player, the "Squeezebox".
We were the first review site to have our hands on the Squeezebox and
unfortunately only had it for one day. But in that 24-hour period we used
the Squeezebox as much as possible and tried everything we could. So did it
improve upon the already editors-choice SLIMP3? Read on to find out."
