Starbucks announced to close 600 coffee shops and cutting 7% of its workforce.
Starbucks has grown too fast and its shares have fallen more than 50% in the past two years. Something has to happen, but what if it is hitting "your Starbucks" on the way to work? Starbucks and AT&T reach Deal with T-Mobile
NEW YORK (Reuters) - Starbucks Corp , AT&T Inc and T-Mobile have reached a deal
to resolve T-Mobile's claim that the coffee chain secretly colluded with AT&T to
offer free Wi-Fi Internet access in its cafes despite an exclusive agreement
with T-Mobile, Starbucks said in a statement on Wednesday.

As reported in April, Starbucks switched their Wi-Fi service from T-Mobile to AT&T.

AT&T and Starbucks Launch In Store Wi-Fi
AT&T and Starbucks announced that they are beginning the roll out of the AT&T Wi-Fi service in company owned Starbucks stores nationwide. The implementation of the AT&T service will continue throughout 2008.

BMW designed Starbucks Sirena
Starbucks offers a cool looking espresso machine designed by the German car people at BMW.
The Starbucks Sirena is based on a Saeco machine. It comes with the ability to "auto-tamp" the coffee, pull a shot, and then with a proper heat time, steam your milk.

MoodBlurbs: Social Lubricant for Notebook Users Sitting at Starbucks
MoodBlurbs are one of those low-tech product inventions that are kind of cool and could be mega successful - maybe.
I4U Reader Michelle R. explains MoodBlurbs like this:
"It attaches to your laptop and displays messages for you. Say, you are at the coffee shop and just updating your blogs. A hot chick in a tight sweater has been staring at you all afternoon but you had no idea because your nose was stuck inside your laptop. She did not want to
