Super Bowl 2010 Ads Almost Sold Out
In August we reported that Super Bowl 2010 ad sales are off to a slow start. Now the situation has changed completely and according to CNN, CBS will have sold 90% of the available 30 second Super Bowl Ad slots by Thanksgiving.
NBC had to wait to reach the sellout point until January in 2008.

HomeAway Super Bowl 2010 Ad Will Feature Chevy Chase And National Lampoon's
HomeAway Inc. has announced their Super Bowl 2010 commercial. The online vacation rental marketplace is going to feature actors Chevy Chase and Beverly D’Angelo in a National Lampoon's Vacation themed Super Bowl ad. The HomeAway Super Bowl ad could be one of the funniest Super Bowl Ads 2010 based on this setup.
"The Griswolds have always been America’s first family of travel, and the broad popularity of the Vacation movie series still continues today," says Brian Sharples, founder and chief executive officer of HomeAway. Super Bowl 2010 will be the first to be broadcasted only in Digital
Super Bowl XLIV will be held in Florida a record breaking 10th time. The new very 3D logo of Super Bowl 2010 has already been presented. As you remember Super Bowl 2009 was heavy on the 3D stuff in the commercials, not sure if the logo designers got the inspiration from that.
A big change for the next Super Bowl will be the shift to an all digital telecast as the U.S. digital transition just took place on June 12th.
