Esquire’s October issue will use the same sort of E Ink technology that we have seen in the Amazon Kindle and the Phosphor E Ink Watch we reviewed before.

The E Ink display will have enough power to run for 90 days on newsstands and the display will only be inserted into 100,000 copies destined for news stands. The display adds significantly to the cost of the issue since the battery tech had to be invented to power the display and still be thin enough to insert into a magazine. Read more

The two sets are the 46-inch screen LT-46149 and the 52-inch screen LT-52149 models.

The integrated sound projector uses an array of 16 speakers to reproduce a true 5.1 surround sound listening experience without needing speakers or wiring to accomplish it. The web-based fantasy football service is free but PS3 and Xbox owners will need to pay for the download. For the first time fantasy football players can play their teams in Madden NFL 2009. Users will also be able to download the EA Sports Football Live draft Tracker to provide a fantasy draft with the fanfare and presentation of authentic pro football drafts on the PS3 or Xbox. The line is called Tegra and includes two new mobile processor families. The Tegra 600 series is smaller than a dime according to NVIDIA yet can still support full 1080p HD video playback.

The 600 series is ultra-low-power and can still support smooth 3D interfaces. The integrated media processor is good for over 100 hours of audio and 10 hours of HD video playback. The image processor includes advanced DSC and HD camcorder processing. Other features include connectivity and support for Web 2.0 applications and display support for up to 1080p with HDMI, WSXGA+ LCD, SXGA CRT and NTSC/PAL TV-out. Read more

Peugeot Flux Concept Car with integrated Xbox 360 Technology News, Electronics Buy Guide and Gadget Review Design student Mihai Panaitescu won the Peugeot Design Contest 2007 with his Flux concept. It has a built-in Xbox 360, because Microsoft is a partner of Peugeot for this award.

The concept car design is called Peugeot Flux. As contest price, Peugeot will actually build this design and show it in full-scale at the 2007 Frankfurt Motor Show and the can will appear in an Xbox 360 video game.

Mihai Panaitescu says about his winning design: "It's versatility combined with it's sportiness and the ability to use it in different environments are in my opinion some of the vehicle's strong points." I would add that the car looks great. Now Peugeot just needs to put some environmentally friendly engine inside the Flux and the car is ready to go.

Now Apple says they reached agreements with GM, Ford and Mazda that will lead to 70% of new cars available 2007 in the United States to support iPod integration.

GM will offer the Personal Audio Link in October in their HHR car.
The integration displays tracks on the factory installed radio and the steering wheel volume control buttons are supposed to work too for the iPod. Read more
