T-Mobile Will Get HTC Touch HD2 Soon?
The HTC Leo is severely testing my commitment to Android. I love that little green robot quite a lot, but there's something about a 4.3" touchscreen, 1 GHz Snapdragon processor, and 5 megapixel camera that just makes me weak in the knees. Anyway, we now have solid information that the Leo is being renamed the HTC Touch HD2 when it comes to T-Mobile Europe in the near future. CoolSmartphone.com (via BGR) has managed to nab some documents that show the HD2 as a new T-Mo handset.

HTC Touch HD2 Has Android+Faster Processor
It looks like HTC is getting ready to revamp one of their touchscreen smartphones. The HTC Touch HD, a WinMo smartphone, is getting a small hardware boost and a switch over to the Android OS, according to Register Hardware. The switch from WinMo to Android is a pretty clear sign of the increasing favor HTC has shown Google's OS recently.
The main change between the HD and the HD2 will be processor based. Most HTC handsets run on a Qualcomm 528 MHz processor. The HD2, on the other hand, will sport a 628 MHz processor. That's not nearly as impressive as the Snapdragon, but it's a big boost for HTC's handset line.

HTC Touch HD rumored to be next Android Phone T-Mobile G2
The HTC Touch HD has many, including me, already excited as it features this amazing 3.8 inch screen with 800x480px resolution. A rumor sprung up that HTC is working to bring Android onto the HTC Touch HD.

HTC Touch HD Release Details
Yesterday the product pages of the new HTC Touch HD Windows smartphone went online. Today HTC published the press-release with the release details of this new hot Windows phone.
The HTC Touch HD will be available across major European carriers still in Q4 2008 and be introduced in other global markets shortly following.
The highlight of the HTC Touch HD is the 3.8 inch screen with the high 800x480px resolution. The other features of the HSDPA phone are also not bad but, considering that my good "old" Asus 701 8G with 7 inch screen has the same resolution is depressing.
