Samsung TouchWiz 3D UI gets Update for MWC 2009
The Samsung TouchWiz smartphone UI runs on the rather successful Samsung Omnia phone and according to Samsung TouchWiz is already used by 1 million users. Today Samsung announced an update of the Touchwiz UI that will debut at the Mobile World Congress 2009 next week.
The improvements of the new TouchWiz UI include new 3D effects, widget dock on bottom of screen, downloadable Widgets, better integration of photos and contacts and also more haptic features.

Samsung TouchWiz User Interface Coming to US
Samsung is bringing mobile phones that use its TouchWiz user interface to the US market. The interface has been used before on international products like the SGH-F480/TouchWiz and the Samsung Omnia, but hasn’t been seen in America.
The user interface is designed around widgets that allow users to customize and personalize the way the phone is used. The icons provide one touch access to the most useful sections of the phone for each user. New widgets can be added to the user bar by dragging them to it. Samsung says it plans to launch TouchWiz devices in late 2008 and early 2009. Read more

Sasmung announced the TOUCHWIZ SGH-F480 a week ago. The Samsung TOUCHWIZ is a so called Haptic phone and gives you 22 kinds of vibration feedbacks.

Samsung TOUCHWIZ SGH-F480
Samsung announces the TOUCHWIZ SGH-F480 touchscreen mobile phone for Europe.
The Samsung TOUCHWIZ is a so called Haptic phone and gives you 22 kinds of vibration feedbacks. Samsung already introduced the SGH-W420 in Korea with the same haptic user interface experience.
