Toys“R”Us announces their Black Friday Deals and calls it an unbeatable Black Friday. Toys'R'Us announced it will offer an unprecedented lineup of more than 150 doorbusters from 5am to 1pm on Black Friday 2008.
The Toys'R'Us Thanksgiving Sales circular will appear in newspapers on Thanksgivings Day.
More than 100 Doorbusters can be found in the 24-page circular, along with more than $6,000 in total additional savings on some of the season’s hottest toys, games and electronics. On the Toysrus site you can see Black Friday deals beginning Wednesday, November 26th at midnight. You get a sneak-peek of more than 50 additional unadvertised Mystery Doorbusters that will be available only in Toys'R'Us stores on Black Friday.

KB Toys opens 270 Stores at Midnight on Black Friday
Toy retailer KB Toys will open 270 of its 460 stores at midnight on Black Friday to give you the opportunity to beat the traditional post-Thanksgiving shopping frenzy. Special Doorbuster deals and Bonus Offers will be available from the stroke of Midnight in these stores.

Toys'R'Us is having another Mega Sale this weekend starting today online and in stores. The Sale only lasts until Saturday. For some reason Toys'R'Us is not extending these weekend sales to Sunday.

We just received another list with toy deals from Wal-mart featuring the hottest toys of the season.
Of course Elmo Live cannot be missed on any hot toy list, but Wal-mart also named 14 other hot toys in the list below.

Designer Christian Audigier has made a big name in fashion with his Ed Hardy label. Mr. Audigier knows how to make money and apparently he sees an opportunity selling Ed Hardy RC toys.

Toys R Us Big Book of Toy Sales is online
Toys'R'Us released their Big Book of Toy sales catalog featuring overall savings of $5,000. The sales offers are valid until November 22nd and the toy catalog is also available online.
A couple days later the Thanksgiving, Black Friday and Cyber Monday Toys'R'Us offers will appear.
There are sure already some great deals, but like always comparing prices with other stores is extremely important to save money. For instance the hot selling Fisher-Price Smart Cycle is offered for $99.99 by Toys'R'Us in the Big Book. Amazon.com has it on sale for only $74.49 right now.

Amazon Shipping Box Doll is Toy top Seller in Japan
I was researching on what the hottest toys are around the world based on Amazon top seller lists. In Japan I stumbled over an Amazon Shipping Box Doll that is leading the Toy Bestseller List. You read correct the bestselling toy in Japan is a 80mm mascot that looks it is made from the Amazon shipping boxes.
Apparently the Amazon shipping box doll originates from an anime book.
There are several versions of the Amazon.co.jp Box man available. They differ in size and design. One of them reveals an actual anime character inside, which I guess is how this whole thing started.

Toys 'R' Us set to battle Wal-mart at biggest Black Friday in History
The once biggest toy store is set to battle Wal-mart this holiday shopping season to win back the crown they lost 10 years ago to Wal-mart. Toys 'R' Us re-launched their site and already has a special sale this weekend (ends today).
Toys 'R' Us CEO Gerald Storch believes that the day after Thanksgiving aka Black Friday will be the biggest in history. I already made that prediction in this report back in August. Black Friday and Thanksgiving Sales anyway get bigger every year, but the economic situation will even push more consumers to look for the best deals.

Tiny Toyota iQ launches in Japan
Toyota will begin sales of its new "micro-premium" car, the Toyota iQ, in Japan starting on November 20th. Toyota introduced the iQ at the IAA 2007.
A newly designed platform enables an ultra-efficient package that seats four in a vehicle 2,985mm long by 1,680mm wide by 1,500mm high.
A 1.0-liter engine offers fuel efficiency at the highest levels for its displacement, and also meets the new 2015 Japanese fuel efficiency standards under the recently introduced JC08 test cycle.

Toyota Unveils Winglet Personal Transport Assistance Robot
Toyota Motor Corporation (TMC) has announced what it calls a personal transport robot today that is ridden in a standing position. Toyota says that the Winglet is still being refined at this point. The Winglet is a compact transportation tool that TMC says is designed to enhance a user's mobility.
TMC created three different models dubbed the L, M, and S. Each model has different handling features for different needs from practical to sporty and hands free. The body of the Winglet has an area about the size of an A3 sheet of paper. Read more

Toyota is World's Top Car Seller
Japan's Toyota ranked first in global auto sales for the first half of 2008, surpassing its U.S. rival General Motors.
GM's first-half sales fell 2.9% year on year to 4,540,409 units due to weak demand in its home market, while Toyota's sales, including those by group firms Hino Motors and Daihatsu Motor Co., rose 2.2% to 4,817,941 units.

Toyota will Offer Bluetooth Hands-Free Systems in 15 Models
Toyota announced that it will be offering hands free Bluetooth systems on 15 of its models including the upcoming 2009 Venza when it goes on sale in the fall. Toyota says that its Bluetooth hands-free system will work with most mobile phones and is built into optional DVD navigation and JBL audio systems.
Toyota says that users of the hands-free systems will get the benefits including phone operation with built-in mic and audio speakers, one touch call answering via steering wheel controls or nav screen. The system automatically mutes the audio when a call is made or received. DVD navigation systems allow for placing calls from the last calls received list and voice commands can make or receive calls. Read more

MTI Micro Debuts Embedded Fuel Cell Protoype for GPS Device
MTI Micro announced a prototype embedded fuel cell today aimed at use in the handheld GPS device market. The fuel cell is called the Mobion and provides three times as much energy to a GPS device as four AA batteries do.
MTI says that on a large, color screen GPS device that means 60 hours of continuous power. That is enough power for weeks of use not the days of use common with AA batteries. The Mobion GPS prototype also includes a USB port allowing the device to provide power to recharge mobile phones or any other device that can recharge via USB. Read more
