PC-TV Tuner Market Worth $1.7 Billion by 2012
PC-TV tuners aren’t that popular here in the U.S., at least not nearly to the extent of the popularity they enjoy in Europe and Asia. According to Research and Markets the market for PC-TV tuners is quickly moving from analog to digital, which makes sense.
The company says that in 2005 60.1% of PC-TV tuners shipped were analog. In 2006 that percentage dropped to 48.3% and in 2007 the percentage of analog tuners shipped was 39.7%. The drop coincides with the time frame for the expansion of digital broadcasts in Europe, Korea and Japan. Read more

AutumnWave OnAir USB HDTV-GT Tuner Review
Tweaktown published a review of the AutumnWave OnAir USB HDTV-GT Tuner.
Quote from the review: "There are quite a few products available nowadays that allow you to display and capture over-the-air High Definition television content to your home computer or laptop. While the number of choices are plentiful, most of them are designed for those outside the confines of the United States. The reason for this is simple; the US tends to lag far behind other parts of the world when it comes to transmitting high-def signals over the air.

This week brought a mix of technology news without major
highlights. The last Harry Potter book raised the most attention. Mostly
of course because of the
photo leak, the early
NY Times review and now the possibility that they can catch the
photo leaker because he
used a Canon Rebel and the serial number is in the meta data of the
photos.

Miglia TVMicro USB TV Tuner for Apple Computers
Everything USB reviews the Miglia TVMicro USB TV Dongle for Apple Computers.
Quote:
"Miglia TVMicro isn't the first of its kind, but it is apparently the only USB TV dongle for Mac as of this writing. It is about 40% thicker than an iPod shuttle so you can almost dangle it around your neck.
The remote, on the other hand, is about double the size of the TVMicro. The TV chipset that is very difficult to identify as well as the USB controller make up for the bulk for this over-sized tuner dongle, which fortunately didn't tilt my PowerBook G4 and the new MacBook to one side.
The bundled USB extension cable didn't help much either as it kept disconnecting my TV connection probably due to signal loss or USB power issues.

NVIDIA DualTV MCE Tuner Card Review
Our partners Digital Trends reviewed the NVIDIA DualTV Tuner Card.
Quote:
"The DualTV MCE from NVIDIA is an analog dual TV tuner that transforms a Windows XP machine into a PVR. With dual tuners built-in, you can record two different TV shows simultaneously, while watching a third, previously recorded show.
Or, if you'd like to use the first tuner to pause and rewind live TV, you’ll still be able to record another show in the background.
With competing products such as the ATI TV Wonder Elite, you'd only be able to record one show at a time. If you wanted to pause/rewind live TV with the TV Wonder Elite, you wouldn't be able to do anything else at the same time."
