Microsoft Pure & Turtle Will Run Different OSes?
By now, everyone with a functioning Internet connection and at least a passing interest in smartphones has heard about Microsoft's leaked Turtle and Pure smartphones. Both of these new mobiles are set to be manufactured by Sharp and packed full of Zune services. Until Gizmodo gets clearance to post some more information about these leaked phones, the details of their hardware and software specifications are up for discussion.

The rumor that Microsoft will release a smartphone under the Microsoft brand is already getting old. We first reported it in 2008. Microsoft's main problem is to not piss off their Windows Mobile partners with the introduction of their own smartphones.

Apparently the new smartphones are designed by Danger (owned by Microsoft), maker of the Sidekick and manufactured by Sharp. The new phones are supposed to be co-branded with Microsoft and Sharp.
