EVGA NVIDIA 790i SLI Ultra and 9800GX2 1GB Review
Motherboards published a review of the EVGA NVIDIA 790i SLI Ultra and 9800GX2 1GB graphics card.
Quote from the review: "The new 790i motherboard brings NVIDIA up to speed on many of the features that have left them a bit dragging behind Intel for the last two quarters and makes a strong comeback on the new 790i. DDR3 was one of the most lacking features in the 780i series and is addressed well in the 790i as it can handle up to 2000MHz EPP DDR3 memory without a hitch. This and PCIe 2.0 are the main new features to be seen here and they both bring a bit more performance to the table when combined with the right system parts that enable these features to shine. The new 9800GX2 is a great card for anyone who has a 24” or bigger monitor as the card really begins to rock in resolutions of 1920X1200 or larger.

Nvidia's nForce 790i SLI Ultra chipset Details
Techreport published the details about the new Nvidia's nForce 790i SLI Ultra chipset.
Quote: "Barely three months have passed since Nvidia launched its high-end nForce 780i SLI chipset, and already the green team has another round in the chamber. To be fair, the 780i wasn't so much a new design as a second-coming of the nForce 680i decked out with PCI Express 2.0 support via a custom SLI bridge chip. The 780i wasn't the most elegant answer to the 32 second-generation PCI Express lanes lurking in Intel's X38 Express chipset, but it was the best Nvidia could do at the time to keep up with the Joneses. Today, however, Nvidia's real next-generation core logic arrives in the nForce 790i SLI and its spoiler-equipped Ultra variant.

Developed using highly proprietary and innovative technology from Hitachi, which is so secretive and highly competitive it cannot be revealed, the new plasma display sample is 50 inches in screen size.
