Solid Gold Vertu Phone for Rich Wankers

Vertu makes some of the most expensive mobile phones in the world, and its latest handset continues that tradition. The handset is called the Vertu Boucheron 150 and it's constructed of solid gold. I think the design is very weird looking with lots of planes and angles.

The case of the phone is built from a single piece of gold and is said to take more than 2,000 hours to build by hand. The phone ships in a luxury wooden box. The actual phones internals are unknown; in fact, the only fact about the phone part of the Vertu handset is that it offers 3G connectivity. Read more

Luxury phone label Vertu unveiled an updated Ascent Ti series with the Vertu Ferrari Ascent Ti Collection.
The Ferrari Ascent Ti collection consists of three phones directly inspired by Ferrari and named after their respective colors.
Comprising the series are a limited edition phone called the Nero and two special edition phones named Rosso and Giallo. If Ferrari wins the Formula One Championships this weekend, then these phones might fly off the shelves even faster. Read more

Ugly $310,000 Cell Phone from Vertu

I have never seen a cellphone worth $310,000, yet that is what Vertu is trying to sell its Signature Cobra phone for. The phone has nothing cool or interesting listed feature wise, and the only real reason for the price is all the jewels that adorn the phone.

The phone is covered by a gold cobra that is crusted with one pear cut diamond, one round diamond, two emeralds eyes and 439 rubies. Personally, I would be afraid to carry the thing around as I am prone to leave my phone wherever I happen to be standing. Read more
