The survey was published exclusively in the November issue of Family Circle and suggests that parents are seeing improvements in hand/eye coordination, problem solving and typing skills.

According to the survey, games are teaching kids to think strategically. The survey found that 70% of parents who participated have seen problem solving skills improve since the kids started playing games. Key study findings include 75% of participants attribute educational value and improved hand/eye coordination to games. 84% saw an increase in typing skills after kids played PC games, 72% say kids play online games with other people some or all of the time and 80% say their kids play games in a common area of the house.
