Dell launches Vostro 430 business desktop

Dell has added a new desktop computer to its Vostro business line called the Vostro 430. The machine is optimized for Windows 7 due to launch this month and has a starting price of $699. Dell offers a wealth of options that will push that starting price up significantly.

The Vostro 430 can be fitted with Intel Core i5 or Core i7 CPUs and has graphics options from both NVIDIA and ATI. The machine also has lots of expandability options with support for up to 16GB of RAM and two 1TB HDDs. Read more

Dell expands the Dell Vostro line with the addition of the Dell Vostro 1220 12.1 inch Notebook.
Available in Obsidian Black or Deep Cherry Red, the Vostro 1220 starts at 3.36 lbs, is equipped with the latest Intel Core 2 Duo processors and features up to 9 hours of battery life on a 6-cell battery.

Options for the Vostro 1220 include 128GB SSD, 500GB HDD, DVD or Blu-ray drive. Read more

Dell Announces New Vostro for Business and Emerging Nations

Dell announced its latest Vostro notebook today called the Vostro A860. The notebook is an affordable 15.6-inch laptop for business use and has a widescreen LCD with anti-glare coating and it can be outfitted with Intel processors ranging from the Celeron to Core 2 Duo. The machine can be bought with Windows Vista or Ubuntu Linux as the OS.

A smaller Vostro A840 was also announced that is very similar to the A860, but has a smaller 14.1-inch LCD. Also announced is the Vostro A180 desktop for everyday business computing with Intel Celeron or Pentium dual-core processors. OS options include Linux and Windows Vista. The final new Vostro system is the A100 entry-level desktop that runs an Intel Atom processor and Ubuntu Linux for the OS. Pricing is unknown at this time. Read more

Dell Launches Vostro 410 Green PC

Dell has launched its latest Vostro PC for small businesses called the Vostro Energy Smart 410 Desktop. Dell claims the little PC saves up to 47% in annual energy costs. The little machine starts at $599 and is available today in North and South America as well as the UK.

Dell will roll the machine out in Asia, the Middle East, and Africa in early June. The machine has a larger tower and can accommodate up to 3TB of local storage and memory. The system has six expansion slots and available Intel Core 2 Quad processors and 512MB graphics cards and more. Read more

Dell Announces New Vostro 1310 and 1510 Notebooks

Dell announced two new notebooks in its Vostro line today called the Vostro 1310 and Vostro 1510. The 1510 is a 15.4-inch notebook starting at $599 and the 1310 is a 13.3-inch notebook starting at $749. The new notebooks are available today in Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

Availability in America is set for May 1st with Asia Pacific and Japan getting the systems on May 5th. Dell says that a redesigned 17-inch Vostro 1710 will be available in mid-May. All of the new systems will share a slot load optical drive that is thinner and lighter than before. Read more
