New Vuzix Wrap 310 Video Glasses Now Available Globally
Vuzix Corporation announced that they are shipping the new Wrap 310 worldwide. The Vuzix Wrap 310 are video glasses that almost look like normal sunglasses.
The Wrap 310, featuring twin high-resolution video displays and projecting a 55-inch screen at 10-feet.
Vuzix introduced the Wrap 310 last month.

New Vuzix Wrap 310 Video Glasses
Vuzix Corporation launched the new Vuzix Wrap 310 video glasses. The Wrap 310 look like almost like ordinary sunglasses.
With the new Wrap 310 you get twin high-resolution video displays which project a 55-inch screen and include removable noise isolating earphones.
The glasses are powered for up to 6 hours on just 2 AA batteries, the Wrap 310 will accept video from almost any video player, including the iPod and iPhone.

Vuzix and Metaio unveil CamAR and PhasAR augmented Reality Gear
HMD maker Vuzix partners with metaio for a new augmented reality accessory kit for the Vuzix VR920 video glasses.
Vuzix AR Accessory Kit consists of the CamAR and the PhasAR.
The CamAR is a clip-on USB camera that mounts onto a pair of Vuzix Video Eyewear. The CamAR not only allows the user to see through to the real world but is also designed to accurately track objects and the user’s position in 3-dimensional space.

Vuzix Wrap 920AV augmented Reality Sunglasses to be revealed at CES 2009
Vuzix announced to exhibit their newest HMD at the CES 2009. This year the company shows sunglasses that are able to display a 60 inch virtual image either immersive or in augmented reality mode.
Vuzix calls the Wrap 920AV the world's first fashionable sunglass-style video eyewear with revolutionary see-thru quantum optics. All the buzz words are fine, besides fashionable. The glasses look awful. If you want to make fashionable sunglasses at least talk to Oakley, Ray-Ban or better Prada.

Vuzix VR920-X HMD for Xbox 360 to be shown at CES 2008
Vuzix received two 2008 International CES Innovations Design and Engineering awards for the upcoming Vuzix VR920-X and LV920-1 video glasses.
Vuzix was formerly known as Icuiti. The company changed the name in September. Earlier this year we did a hot Gadget Model shoot with one of their HMDs when they were still Icuiti.
