UK's Aquavision offers a line of LCD TVs specifically designed for bathrooms and showers.

The waterproof LCD TVs have a heated screen to prevent steaming up. The Bathroom TVs come with a waterproof and floating remote control - they thought about everything.
Available sizes are 10.4, 15, 17 and a 16:9 23 inch TV.

Casio Waterproof Portable DVD Players DV-900CW and DV-700CW

Casio seems to be totally into bringing home entertainment into the bath room. They announced now waterproof portable DVD players. They already offer water-proof portable TVs designed for the bath room.

The new Casio DV-900CW features a 9 inch TFT screen, whereas the DV-700CW has a 7 inch screen. The resolution is 480x234px. The waterproof DVD players are also TV sets.
The battery holds for 3 hours.

Waterproof DVD Player by Japanese TwinBird

In case you like to bath and watch DVDs, Japanese TwinBird has just the product for this.

TwinBird's portable DVD player is waterproof. It can survive 30min in a depth of 1m reports Nikkei.Net (Subscription). Question remains if this portable DVD player could survive hot soapy bath water or just cold water.

Oregon Scientific in the UK announces a waterproof MP3 Player. The MP120

We just reported about iRiver releasing an accessory to make its iFP-700 series music player waterproof. Oregon Scientific claims that their MP120 is the world's first waterproof MP3 player with LCD. Well maybe. In any case the MP120 features 128MB a battery life of 10 hours. FM tuner is part of the featureset. It measures 69x50x 20mm. List price is £99.99.

Casio Wireless and Waterproof Portable TV - XFER XF-1000

Casio introduces a new Wireless and waterproof portable TV.

The Casio XFER XF-1000 can operate for 3hours on a battery charge. This new Casio TV features a 10" screen with 640x480dots. The tuner unit can receive terrestrial TV and also has connectors for receivers or dvd players. The video signal is transmitted over the 2.4Ghz band with DS-SS (Direct Sequence Spread Spectrum/ direct spread). The reach is about 30m.

Because the Casio XFER XF-1000 and the Remote are water-proof, users can take it with them to the bath tube or on a float in the pool.

The new portable Casio TV goes on sale in Japan June 13th for 170,000yen. More details in Casio Press-Release (japanese).

Sony has the Location Free Wireless TV and also Sharp offers cordless TVs.
