Nintendo's Miyamoto visits a Kindergarten to jam with Wii Music
Wii Music was introduced by Nintendo this Summer at the E3 2008. I am totally not getting Wii Music, but that is because I am way too old. Nintendo's famous game designer Shigeru Miyamoto visited a Japanese Kindergarten and played Wii Music with a group of kids.
I'm not sure if these kids have been hand picked or if all 3-year-olds in Japan are already playing the Wii.
In any case Nintendo published a video of the Miyamoto Kindergarten Wii Music jam session.

Nintendo Wii Music is Sort of like Rock Band for Classical Music
Nintendo launched Wii Music today saying that the game introduces a new genre in video games. Interest in music games is at an all time high thanks to Rock Band and Guitar Hero, but Wii music is a different animal. The game gives players more than 60 instruments and allows experimentation with them in different ways. The instruments are played using the motion sensing capability of the Wii Remote and Nunchuk to mimic the real-life motions of the instruments.
The game has a song list that offers tracks like Every Breath You Take, Please Mr. Postman, and The Entertainer. Themes from classic Nintendo games like Super Mario Bros., The Legend of Zelda, and Wii Sports are included as well. The Wii Fit Balance Board can be used as pedals for a drum set. The game sells for $49.99. Read more

Wii Music is for 3 year olds
I just was too stunned to report about Wii Music for a moment that Nintendo announced during their E3 2008 briefing.
Wii Music makes playing instruments too easy for my taste. I already have some issues with Guitar Hero, but Wii Music is too forgiving to be fun for grown-ups. It is maybe funny for very little kids.
