Heckler & Koch MP5 Wiimote Controller?
Lightguns usually look pretty lame. That's intentional on the part of the designers; parents tend to complain when kids get badass, realistic looking guns for their gaming consoles. Apparently one company didn't get that memo, however. A Chinese manufacturer has put together a 1:1 scale semi-accurate representation of the Heckler & Koch MP5 submachine gun that functions as a Wiimote.
And not just a Wiimote. According to Pocket Lint this awesome new light gun functions as a nunchuck and a Wii MotionPlus. It contains a built-in battery and recharges via USB. It also comes with a speaker, and rumble functionality.

Wiimote Like 3D Motion Controller For Sony PS3 Unveiled By Blaze
UK based Video Game accessory maker Blaze announces a 3D motion controller for the Sony PS3 that basically resembles a Wiimote.
Blaze highlights that Sega Tennis becomes a whole new ball game when you use the new BLAZE controller to smash your opponent into submission, effortlessly and consistently firing deadly accurate backhands and meteoric volleys.
The BLAZE PS3 Motion Freedom 3D Controller features a directional D-pad, analog stick and the full brace of controls found on the original PS3 control pad.

New Wii Steering Wheel Fits Wiimote With Wii MotionPlus Attached
I did not think about this. My Wii Steering wheel does not working with the new Wii MotionPlus accessory attached to my Wiimote - DRAMA!
Good thing that Hong Kong based gadget shop Brando is already offering an extra-wide Wii steering wheel that can house a Wiimote with Wii MotionPlus attached.

Sony PS3 gets Wiimote at E3 2009
Ever since the Wii became a hyper success the PS3 and the Xbox 360 have been rumored to be getting the same type of controllers to match the success of the Wii.
Variety (via Kotaku) reports now that they got word from several sources that Sony is showing a new motion sensing controller at the E3 2009 in June.

CyWee takes the Wiimote to the next Level at CES 2009
The China based CyWee Group Ltd. debuts new products at the CES 2009 including a fancy Wiimote-like 3D game controller dubbed CYWEE Z.
The Cywee Z is 3-D motion-sensor controller that acts as both a gaming device and a 3-D mouse, first in the world to utilize 2-axies gyro technology for true 1:1 response.
As a gaming device, it leverages the power and flexibility of the PC and the internet to process the gaming content. The advantage of the Z is that the traditional gaming console is no longer required which lowers the cost of entry and choice limitations of console- specific games. As a wireless 3-D mouse it frees the user from the confines of a chair and desk, allowing computer navigation in 3-D space.

Is Motus Darwin the rumored Xbox 360 Wiimote?
We reported about rumors of an Wiimote like motion controller for the Xbox 360 the last couple weeks. Now gaming blog Kotaku opened a whole new direction with identifying Motus and their Darwin 6DOF controller as the possible future Xbox 360 motion controller.
Gyration is actually denying that they work with Microsoft on a motion controller, making the Motus story more plausible at this point.

More Rumors about the Xbox Wiimote aka Newton
Last week we reported a rumor that spread from MTV that Microsoft is working on a Wiimote like controller for the Xbox 360. 8bitJoystick has added some more weight to this rumor by revealing the Microsoft internal project name for the new motion controller. It is supposedly Newton.
Apparently Microsoft licensed the technology from Gyration. Nintendo uses also Gyration's technology.

Microsoft works on ''Wiimote'' for Xbox 360?
Since it is a week after April 1st, this report should be just a good old rumor that could be true, but also completely false. MTV News reports that Microsoft is working on a motion controller similar to the Wiimote for the Xbox 360.
MTV published a sketch of what Microsoft is supposedly working on. The remote control shaped controller is supposed to have more features than the Wiimote.

Very cool Tracking Fingers with Wiimote Hack
Johnny Lee published an amazingly cool hack of the Wiimote enabling tracking of your fingers.
You might have already seen his Youtube video demonstrating the tracking fingers Wii hack as it already has over 750,000 views.
The Wiimote hack uses the iR camera inside the Wiimote to track your fingers and control cursors on the screen.

Wiimote Action Screens from Mortal Kombat: Armageddon for the Wii
Midway's Mortal Kombat: Armageddon for the Nintendo Wii lets you burn your opponent with a flick of your hand.
Mortal Kombat: Armageddon was already available on the Xbox and PS2. The new Wii edition might be more fun to play.
Destructoid has several screens showing fighting action and the according wiimote movement.
