Windows Phone OS Live Walkthrough on Video appears
Microsoft has rebranded the upcoming Windows Mobile 6.50 OS to Windows Phone. The Inquirer got a full demonstration of the redesigned Windows Phone user interface at a recent Microsoft event.
The Windows Phone OS gets demoed on a HTC Touch Diamond 2 and actually looks quite nice. The speed of the Windows Phone OS also looks quite fast.

Text Messages can Hijack your iPhone and Windows Phone
Today at the Black Hat cybersecurity conference in Las Vegas researchers Charlie Miller and Collin Mulliner will demonstrate how to hijack an iPhone via text messages.
Apparently they found a big security hole in the SMS feature of the iPhone that lets hackers take over your iPhone remotely. This sounds really bad. Before just blaming it all on Apple, the researchers found similar security holes in Windows Mobile.

HTC Shadow II UMA Windows Phone coming to T-Mobile
HTC is apparently bringing the unannounced Shadow II UMA smartphone to T-Mobile USA.
The HTC Shadow II will be the first Windows UMA (Unlicensed Mobile Access) Microsoft Windows smartphone on the market.
T-Mobile just announced on Monday the Nokia 6301 and Samsung T339 UMA Phones.
