Wrist TV from NHJ available again for only $49.97
I just stumbled over the Wrist TV from NHJ on Amazon.com. A 3rd party retailer named ShopTronics offers the tiny TV for only $49.97. I have no idea where the company found stock of this well aged gadget. I reviewed the NHJ Wrist TV back in 2004. Four years ago the NHJ Watch TV sold for close to $200. NHJ actually went bankrupt in 2005.
With a screen size of 1.5 inch the NHJ Wrist TV is still the smallest TV on the market as far as I know.

SMS Technology warns that M300 Wristphones are Pirated
Australian SMS Technology informed us that the M300 wristphones that appeared on Asian retailers and eBay over the last couple of weeks are illegal copies of SMS Technology initial Wristphone.
Early June we reported about M300 named Wristphones appearing on the market after SMS Technology said to not sell the M300 and instead right away start selling the more advanced M500 Wrist phone.
SMS Technology says that the offered M300 watch phones have no FCC, CE or ROHS approvals and that the shut down the production of the copy-cat watchphones in China.

M300 Wrist Mobile Phone User Review
As reported a couple days ago the M300 GSM wristphone is available from Asian sellers on eBay. I4U reader John T. from Greece got his M300 and sent us his first impressions. John ordered the M300 from Australian SMS Technology already back in 2006, but got tired of waiting. As soon as he found out that the watch phone sells on eBay, he bought it.
He tested the M300 GSM wristphone with Vodafone Greece and the calls worked very well. The signal strength seems to be good as well. The casing of the watch is made from plastic with a screw-on backside. The SIM card needs to be placed in the back under the battery.
It is possibly to use the watch without Bluetooth headset by talking into the watch. The built-in speakers are not very powerful though.
John's verdict is that the M300 is worth the money. He paid about $255 on eBay UK.
Update 06/27/07:
SMS Technology informed us that the offered M300 wrist watches are pirated and illegal fakes. Please do not purchase. The new M500 touchscreen watch phone from SMS Technology is anyway much better.

M300 Wristphone available on eBay
The M300 Wristphone we heard first about by Australian SMS Technology is now selling on eBay UK under the Korean brand Ktech for £129.99 (~$255). SMS Technology quoted a price of about $500.
Update 06/27/07:
The M300 watch phones are illegal copies of SMS Technology. Please do not purchase and rather get the new and better M500 from SMS Technology.
The Ktech M300 looks slightly different from the SMS Technology promoted M300 and does not have a metal bracelet. If Ktech is the real manufacturer of this mobile phone watch is not clear. My research did not find a Ktech company that fit the profile to make wristwatch GSM Phones.
As reported SMS Technologies skipped the M300 after delays and is supposed to ship a new more advanced Wristphone dubbed M500.
