Creative Announces Zen X-Fi2 Media Player At IFA
Are you in the market for a touchscreen media player, but not one that costs as much as the iPod Touch or the Zune HD? If so, you might want to plant your eyes on Creative's Zen X-Fi2 multimedia player this holiday season. This new touchscreen player was debuted yesterday at the IFA conference in Berlin. It's got a very slim profile, and appears to be just a 3" LCD touchscreen with a very minimal frame.
Techtree reports that this media player can handle iTunes Plus, FLAC files, WMV9, MPEG4-SP, DivX 4/5 and XviD formats. It comes with a microSD slot, a TV out capability, a built-in microphone and an FM radio. It comes in three sizes; 8GB ($130), 16GB ($180), and 32 GB ($230).

Creative Sound Blaster X-Fi Notebook Sound Card and Wireless receiver Announced
Creative has announced a new notebook sound card called the Sound Blaster X-Fi Notebook sound card that is aimed at making your mobile music sound better. The device fits the ExpressCard slot on some PCs. The card also improves the quality of movie sound and comes with Power DVD software.
Other features of the sound card include X-Fi CMSS-3D and EAX Advanced HD audio for gaming. Creative also announced a Creative Wireless Receiver that sends audio from your notebook wirelessly to other speakers in your home with a 100-foot range. The sound card will retail for $99.99 and the wireless receiver will sell for $69.99. Read more

Creative Launches ZEN X-Fi and Zen X-Fi WiFi DAPs
Today creative announced the launch of the new ZEN X-Fi and ZEN X-Fi with Wireless LAN DAPs. The players can play music, video, and photos and are the only DAPs using the Creative Xtreme Fidelity X-FI audio technology.
Creative says that the ZEN X-Fi with Wireless LAN is available today at Amazon, Buy.com, Creative.com, Frys.com and Newegg. The ZEN X-Fi version without wireless LAN will be available later in the month. Creative promises breakthrough sound quality for MP3, WMA, and unprotected iTunes music. The Wi-Fi connectivity allows the streaming of music from your PC to the DAP. The players also include premium earphones. Read more

The first details leaked about the Creative X-Fi at the end of June. Today Creative officially unveiled their new portable media player Creative Zen X-Fi and Zen X-Fi with Wireless Lan.
The Creative Zen X-Fi is the only portable player to feature Xtreme Fidelity X-Fi audio technology.
Other features of the Zen X-Fi include 2.5-inch TFT display, 8GB, 16GB, or 32GB storage, SD-card slot, Built-in FM radio with 32 presets, microphone for voice recording, WMV, AVI, MJPEG, MPEG4-SP, DivX 4 and 5, and XviD, Outlook sync for contacts, calendar and to-do list, and Instant Messenger (Wi-Fi model only).

Creative Zen X-Fi
Information about a new Creative Zen Wi-fi music player surfaced. The Create Zen X-Fi features X-Fi technology with two effects: Crystallizer and Expand.
The leaked details are still sketchy. Apparently the Zen X-Fi features MP3, WMA, AAC, Wav and audible audio format support, WMA, MPEG4-SP, Divx 4/5, Xvid, and MJPEG video, FM tuner, Voice recorder, speaker, and possibly 8GB, 16GB and 32GB capacities.

Creative Introduces Aurvana X-Fi Noise-Canceling Headphones
Creative introduced a new set of headphones today called the Aurvana X-Fi noise-canceling headphones for improved playback on the iPhone, iPod and other portable devices. This is the first set of headphones to use Creative’s X-Fi technology to improve sound quality and deliver virtual surround sound.
The headphones will retail for $299.99 and are available now at Amazon.com.
