XFX Unveils GeForce GT 220 and 210 Video Cards

XFX Unveils GeForce GT 220 and 210 Video Cards Technology News, Electronics Buy Guide and Gadget Review XFX has launched a couple new low-end NVIDIA video cards called the GeForce 210 and GT 220. The lower-end GeForce 210 is a budget offering that is clocked at 589 MHz on the core and has a 64-bit memory bus. The card has 512MB of DDR2 RAM that runs at 800 Mhz. Outputs include VGA, DVI-D, and HDMI.

The GT 220 is available in two versions. The GT-220X-ZNFC has a GPU clock of 625MHz and a memory bus that is 128-bit. The 1GB of RAM is clocked at 800MHz and the card has VGA, HDMI, and DVI-D outputs. Read more

XFX to Become AMD Partner Technology News, Electronics Buy Guide and Gadget Review I have been reviewing XFX products for a long time. Traditionally XFX has been an NVIDIA exclusive video card partner selling NVIDIA chipset motherboards and graphics cards. XFX and AMD have announced today that XFX is now an AMD partner and will be bringing XFX branded ATI video cards to market.

According to XFX, it will bring ATI Radeon HD 4000 series GPUs to market in early 2009. This is great news for gamers who like XFX's support and fantastic warranty that covers the original owner and the second owner for the lifetime of the video card. I hope this means we will see ATI overclocked video cards coming from XFX as well. Read more
