Ericsson Xperia X10: T-Mobile And AT&T?
Today Ericsson made big news with the official announcement of the Xperia X10. This new Android smartphone is far and away the most powerful mobile announced so far. Now that we know just what hardware this baby will pack, the only question remaining is what carriers will get this gorgeous new phone. Ericsson hasn't officially announced that yet, but the fact that they've unveiled it must mean that they are close to ironing out a deal.
Android and Me points out that the X10 could easily be coming out for both AT&T and T-Mobile. How is this possible? Because the Rachel packs WCDMA/UMTS 1700/2100, which means this handset is T-Mo 3G ready. The X10 also has UMTS 850/1900, which is AT&T 3G ready.

Xperia X10 Hands-On Shows Why We Have To Wait Until 2010
Sony Ericsson unveiled today their first Android phone with the Xperia X10 formerly known as Xperia X3.
The Xperia X10 looks like a great Android smartphone with a cool UI dubbed UX, powered by the 1Ghz Snap Dragon CPU and a big 4-inch screen.
Engadget had the opportunity to get hands-on with a pre-production model of the Xperia X10. The hands-on video shows that the graphics performance is still far from what the promo video suggests. The software is apparently still in a much unfinished state also.

Sony Xperia X3 Spotted
Android nerds everywhere have been on the lookout for the Sony Rachel Xperia X3, aka the "Rachel", for months now. The X3 was expected to be one of the first Android smartphones released to pack the extra-speedy 1 GHz Snapdragon processor. Though it now looks like the X3 will be beaten to the punch by the Acer A1 Liquid, the new Xperia still has a lot to be psyched about.
For one thing, it's just been spotted again. GSMArena has captured a picture of the phone itself in use. They say it could be out as early as November, although a Q1 2010 release is more likely. The Rachel is still expected to pack an 8 MP camera, as well as a 4", 852x480 touchscreen.

Sony Ericsson Xperia X3 Out January?
If you aren't a tech geek, you may not know what the Xperia X3 is. To catch you up, here's a primer; the X3, also known as the "Rachael" is an Android smartphone with a 1 GHz Snapdragon processor, a 4" touchscreen, and an 8.1 megapixel camera. It's pretty much the most powerful smartphone in town, and the fact that it runs Android makes it even more painfully desirable. We've been waiting for weeks to learn when it's coming out.
Boy Genius says our wait could end in January. They've heard "rumors" that the X3 will launch close to the first of the year, right along with the Xperia X2. Please note that there have been no official confirmations of this rumor. I can see a good amount of logic in the idea, though.

Thanks to Engadget, we now know that the Xperia X2 will be one of those phones. In addition to packing WinMo 6.5, this big black brick of badass contains an 8.1 megapixel camera, an included 4GB microSD card, and 13 pre-loaded "panels" for its Windows Mobile skin.

Ericsson Xperia X2 Images Leaked
Sony's new Xperia handset has leaked just a little bit, and now we have a clear image of the upcoming X2 to go with all of our rumors and spec lists. The X2 is one of new smartphones that Ericsson is betting on to revitalize their flagging mobile phone sales. It's got a special, customized version of Windows 6.5 that (supposedly) will have the X2 running as fast as an iPhone.
The X2 also has an awesome 8.1 megapixel auto-focusing camera, a 3.5” OLED display, a GPS, accelerometer, and 512 MB of RAM. The Xperia panels on the X2 can support an upgrade to Windows Mobile 7, as well as connect remotely to your PlayStation 3. All in all, the Xperia X2 is one of the coolest new smartphones coming out.

Sony Ericsson is finally announcing a release date and price for the Xperia X1 Windows smartphone. Sony will sell the Xperia X1 unlocked and directly from their SonyStyle store starting Black Friday (November 28th) for $799.99.
Sony Ericsson highlights the only advantage of buying the Xperia X1 unlocked. You can choose your carrier and data plan. The big downside is that you need to pay an unsubsidized price of $800 for this phone. Is the Xperia X1 worth 4 iPhone 3G phones?
For me this looks like Sony Ericsson could not find a carrier for the X1.

Sony Ericsson announced the highly anticipated XPERIA X1 Windows Smartphone in February. The XPERIA X1 is slated for a release in the second half of 2008, but Boy Genius Report already got their hands on the first Sony Ericsson Windows Smartphone.
Quote: "Let’s not forget the physical design of the device as it’s one of the coolest and hippest-looking phones we’ve seen in a very long time. Since our unit isn’t a production version, the software runs a little slow. Even so, in most tasks, it performs very well. We can’t wait to play with a final production unit.
